Judging by the quotes from the coaches I don't think there is any bad blood. But that could just be talk

Really tough to go against the raptors right now. Will hope the nuggets win because I'd like to fade them on Wednesday.

I am hoping HH posts GS because this Houston team really annoys me but if Jack is out, this GS team playing on 2 days rest where they stink is really hard to bet after the last 4 games

GS has huge revenge angle against the Rockets.
Houston destroyed them just a week ago and in the end, when Rockets tried to break NBA three point record, GSW really didn't like it and fouled, sending Rockets to the line instead of letting shoot three pointers - ending of the game really became not matching the score on the board:

As for the Lakers, they just got home, after very long trip and have Clippers on deck Thursday - much bigger game, especially with Clippers up 2 - 0 on them this season.
I think that Lakers just want a W, nothing else.
I do think that this is very funny game.
Brown was Kobe's sub, Dragic was Nash's sub and Gortat was Dwight's sub.
It's first unit vs. second unit game :)

Both teams fall under Bc's category:
Lakers:
vs Conf teams as a Fav ..............................<wbr>... 25-28-1
Suns:
on the Road vs Conf teams as a Dog ................. 9-14-1

Suns in a very dangerous subset. Clinically insane currently. Combination of terrible coach and really stupid management has left a once dangrous team with middle level players who get few calls and have just played one of their worst games ever. They first lose by 31 at OKC and then at home against OKC lose all 4 quarters and and lose by 28. Trying to predict how hard they play tomorrow is not easy. At some point a sort of demented rage may take over. They have become a irrelevant team who in thse 2 games got 15 free throws in the first game and 5 in the second. This is no excuse for their hopeless play. Good teams have impact players who do not quit and are commited to winning. A few years agoi they had such players and were playing at OKC and winning and were very live in the playoff hunt. Durant stepped up and dislocated Frye's shoulder and was not even given a foul, Gentry said nothing and did nothing. I would have asked two players to crash into Durant and Westbrook. No permanent damage just a message sent. No message ever got sent and the Suns and their playoff drive crashed. Gentry became their graveyard groundskeeper.
Probably at least 2 years to remove this sickness. This team has only had 1 4 game ATS losing streak this season and they are on 3 right now.
I --I want the Lakers to win and the Suns to look like a respectable team. Its possible that playing against their ex point guard Steve Nash will allow them to keep it together but sooner or later there has to be an explosion.

Concerning the 23-0 that seemed to lose today

=unexpected line Move with CLE

Line has gone to CLE-7 (and THAT move is critical to this trend as at -7 OR Higher the trend has losses), i did NOT expect that,,,,i've already played it at CLE-6, and will stay with it so i gotta hope that it wins,,,, BUTT unless that line comes DOWN to at least CLE-6.5 it's not a system play,,,every place i see has CLE-7 'XCEPT PINNACLE, soooooo it MIGHT come back down later
[/TD]

Live and learn. Should have stayed off it once it hit 7

I believe this revenge angle here has gained too much steam. The Warriors are not very good right now. Probably one of the worst teams form wise last 2-3 weeks. Couldn't revenge a loss vs a lost Memphis team.... Embarrassed at Houston. Etc. Bogut hasn't helped. I said they were not as good as their record a few weeks ago and got laughed at... Few teams played as hard as they did to start the year and now it's catching up with them. Who on this team tonight says lets man up and get this W? Lee? I would have said Jack but he's probably out. Curry, Klay, not your typical revenge spot ballers.

I wrote many times that GSW not as good of a road team as many thought and they regressed as expected. But they always were a good home team and I don't expect it to change.
This is also their last game before ASG, so another reason for them to try and finish it good and not carrying 5 games losing streak.

Spread in Miami is 11.5.

Faves laying this number are 1-8 ATS this season (11.1%)...

Andre Iguodala (neck) and Danilo Gallinari (sinus infection) are both out for Tuesday's game against the Raptors.

Iguodala sustained a cervical strain on Sunday. He appeared close to playing in this one, so we certainly wouldn't rule him out of Wednesday's game against the Nets. But with both the Nuggets' starting shooting guard and small forward sidelined Tuesday, we can safely expect monster minutes from Wilson Chandler and Corey Brewer. Evan Fournier and Andre Miller also get a boost.

Chandler is out too.

I played Raps +115 based on a lagged ML when the spread was -2.

That's 100 minutes of rotation.

45 minutes each coming for Hamilton and Brewer. More than capable of filling in though.

Someone drop a 5000 dimer on Memphis?

They sure are improving and all slowly and SAC sucks but line is 11 now?

not touching anything today, its best to lay off completely the week before the all-star game, if the nuggets win today i'll be on the nets tomorrow

Took Nuggets and will just stick to betting on teams without stars/starters.

Like I should have with Nets last night.

[h=2]SUNS AT LAKERS, 10:30 P.M. ET[/h] February 12, 2013 · 9:56PM
TV: League Pass

  • Earl Clark will start tonight when the Lakers host the Suns at Staples Center. Clark missed the morning shootaround while undergoing an MRI on his sore right foot. The results came back negative, which is great news for the Lakers, who begin tonight’s game 3 1/2 games out of the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference. Clark has been “the brightest spot we’ve had all year,” Lakers coach Mike D’Antoni said before the game. He combined for just 36 minutes through the first 33 games, then was rushed into the rotation following injuries to Dwight Howard, Pau Gasol and Jordan Hill. He averaged 10.3 points and 8.4 rebounds in January and bumped those numbers up to 14 points and 9.7 rebounds this month.

  • When these teams met on Jan. 30 in Phoenix, Howard did not finish the game after he re-injured the torn labrum in his right shoulder. The Suns went on to rally from a seven-point deficit with six minutes remaining and win, 92-86. Howard missed the next three games but has played in the last three, increasing his minutes each game. He played 41 minutes Sunday in Miami, finishing with 15 points and nine rebounds in the 107-97 loss.

  • Suns reserve forward Michael Beasley played his best game of the season when these teams met last month. He scored a season-high 27 points in the win, which ruined the return of Lakers point guard Steve Nash to Phoenix. Beasley turned in another solid effort Friday night against Oklahoma City, scoring 25 points in the 127-96 loss, but came back with a four-point effort Sunday against the Thunder, this time in a 97-69 loss.

[h=2]ROCKETS AT WARRIORS, 10:30 P.M. ET[/h] February 12, 2013 · 9:53PM
TV: League Pass

  • Plenty of folks will closely watch Rockets point guard Jeremy Lin, since this is the former Warrior’s first appearance in Oakland since exploding on the NBA scene little more than a year ago as a member of the New York Knicks. Rockets coach Kevin McHale said no player would get used to the kind of scrutiny the 24-year-old underwent — and still undergoes, to some extent, after re-joining Houston this summer as a free agent. “At certain points in your NBA career, like LeBron [James] is going through right now, you play on the ceiling,” McHale said. “You play at your max level. Jeremy happened to do that in New York for three weeks. And you don’t play on the ceiling all the time. If you do that, you’re called, ‘Michael Jordan.’”
  • The other major storyline revolves around how the two teams go at things after a 140-109 win by Houston against Golden State a week ago grew contentious in the final minutes, with the Warriors deliberately fouling the Rockets to keep them from setting a new single-game NBA record for made 3-pointers. Golden State took umbrage with what they felt was excessive in-game celebrating from Houston, which is ironic given that the Warriors are often accused of the same thing. Golden State coach Mark Jackson brushed off such criticism, relating the story of a fan from one of the Warriors’ recent road stops, who complained via e-mail about the over-exuberant visitors: “They were upset because our bench was up and it messed up their view. I take that as a compliment. I have guys in games. You should send an e-mail to to your team, wondering why your team isn’t up and involved in the game.”
  • The Rockets’ barrage was just the start of an 0-for-4 road trip for the Warriors, who gave up an average of 118.5 points per game while sliding to their longest losing streak of the season. “Four straight losses is a clear indication of [the fact that] we’re not the same team, defensively, and we’re not getting it done across the board,” Jackson said.

Jazz 14-3 at home if leading at halftime.

OKC 2-5 on the road if trailing at halftime.

just ridiculous what lebron is doing right now

LeBron James became the only player in NBA history to score 30 points and hit more than 60 percent of his shots in six straight games after torching the Blazers for 30 points, six rebounds, nine assists, three steals, two blocks and a 3-pointer on 11-of-15 shooting on Tuesday.

Moses Malone and Adrian Dantley did it five straight times, but LeBron is the only one to do it six times. He had 30 points on 10-of-16 shooting on Feb. 3 to start the streak, and is averaging 31 points, 6.4 rebounds, 6.4 assists, 1.6 steals, 1.2 blocks and 1.8 3-pointers on 74 percent shooting over his five games since then. He's unstoppable, and all that post-game has work clearly paid off for him, while the Heat have won eight straight at home and six straight overall.

Jarrett Jack tested his injured shoulder in pregame and says he's going to play on Tuesday.

How many minutes he'll get, or how effective he'll be, remains to be seen, but if you own him, you might as well throw him in your lineup since it sounds like he will play. An earlier report had ruled him out.

will stalk a possible 2h play on the lakeshow

way too much love for the warriors on the boards for me to get involved

Maybe the 'look ahead' for a relatively young OKC was more significant than I thought. Minds are clearly elsewhere...

If pace in both remaining games, stays the same, we will have 6 - 0 Over day.
Should we be looking for Unders tomorrow?
