Not all those who wander are lost
Very hard to believe this. Clippers are getting 9 tonight from Boston. This is the Boston that is playing 5th in 7. The Boston that will be playing at home against Cleveland in 2 days. I know the Clippers got torched by the Lakers but the Lakers along with Houston are the hottest teams in the NBA. Lakers were on 2 days rest while Clippers were playing worst 3 in four and Kaman did not play.
Tonight the Clippers are playing with 1 days rest. If you look at Clippers at home last 20 they have lost by 10 or more 3 times. When I asked my data base how they do as greater than 8 point dogs there was a problem. 19 of the cases were on the road.
Some time ago I posted for Minn playing the Lakers and it was very stupid because I was betting against a very good and very hot team. In their last 10 road games Boston is 5-5 with 2 good wins. Those wins were Knicks and Heat. Right now the Big 3 are taking turns having terrible games. Are they still a good team? Yes. The Clippers however are 6-4 last 10 at home and even with Kaman out have a solid core of players with Knight, Mobley, Tim Thomas, Maggette and Thorton. Just really a silly line made even worse with the Cleveland lookahead. Clipps plus points will be a 2 unit play with a half unit ml. GL

GL Tuck, looked at it hard and lean that way....just wish Chris rebounding was in there. Still looking at this one though.

I would be real hesitant to play this without Kaman. You'll need a great night out of the other Clipper bigs, and even then I'm not sure it'll be enough. The clips don't seem to me to have the bodies to handle the Cs at any position. It's not like Cassell is likely to play. Maggette and those nameless fuckers in the paint better play damned well......

this'll be one I keep an eye out for a good 2H bet on.

GL!

Lets not count Denver because Kevin was simply not ready to play but in the next 3 games Boston was out rebounded by 24 rebounds. Now they are playing 5 in 7 and I am supposed to be in awe of their rebounding edge with Kaman out? Why?
Tim Thomas got back 4 games ago and has been averaging 5.5 rebounds and 14 points a game. But those things are not central to the issue. We know that Boston has not been playing well. It is really not likely they would have won much less covered yesterday if Roy had not gone out but they did win which puts much less pressure on them to win convincingly here. Right now they would love to take a 1 point win. They seriously just want to rest for Cleveland and this is just a percentage bet.

2 very solid under referees helps the under but Boston is 7-5 over in b-b this season and has gone over 7 of the last 10. Also since the 6 day break Clippers have scored 100, 114, and 95 points so I thought I would make any total play at half time. BOL

3 small plays. Atlanta first half plus 6.5, Spurs minus 12 and Denver ml first quarter. Sorry no time to talk.

So looks like Cassell is IN and Kaman is OUT.

I am stunned I had no idea of the secrets in that injury report. By the way I am not sure I Want Cassell to play. Any way I had not even looked at Indiana till I saw Bar's post. Now Toronto on the road b-b this season is 2-6 su and they are playing worst 4 in 6. I think I am splitting 3.5 and ml for 1.5 units.

Read my comments in Redbearde's thread about Tor / Indy . yeah the injury report was a waste but some didnt think Cassell was available and cut and pasting the whole thing was quicker

Good point on the win lose aspect. Trying to cap 3 sports is hard. Have promoted Spurs minus 12 to a full unit play. Team is as healthy as they have been all year. Have 2 days off and love to torture Atlanta. Think it goes under to. Typical Spurs super d and just let them wither and die. Hope I survive with Atlanta first half but that angle has been GOLD and I just can not drop it yet.
