There is zero way you would be doing this good without the expert analysis of the Tulane Green Wave (Wow) in the first week of the year from that fine gentleman at GN sportsbook.

Sorry all, very behind on work and so i haven't had time to consolidate and post what I have so far, let alone reasons. And only part way through the card at this point. Vacation really set me back and catching up is difficult.

Rice 17

So I was able to get Rice at an MGM property at 17 and so my patience paid off there. I still like it at 16.5 but I think if you want to bet rice, a drop to 16 is less significant than a rise to 17. I might be digging a bigger hole than I want with the ole miss / Ark game but there is weather there and I am hoping this is a way of juicing out. If it goes over, I should have the ability to go under again 2h .. and if that loses, I will have lost a 1.2 units instead of winning a unit. It's a risk. I did something similar with oregon in a bowl game a couple years ago and won both bets. I should probably just eat the loss.

good luck

Had a nice day and went 7-2 on the bigger stuff with two losses both being tied to Penn State's offense. I actually didn't get to see that game so I will watch it during the week sometime while I am working and will check the box/pbp tonight.

Some thoughts that came to me as I watched games today:

1. Colorado coach might have been an English major or a Physical Education major or a Communications major .... but he wasn't a math major. trailing 31-20 late in the game he went for two. If you can explain it, let me know. The 2h total was 24.5 and it was almost a brutal beat for those folks. I am super confused how a coach cannot know to kick an extra point in that spot. Maybe we will find out the kicker and back up kicker were both hurt.

2. TOSU is a finesse passing team on offense against competition now. Expecting their offensive line to physically dominate in the run schemes isn't going to happen against any above average defensive line. TOSU failed in short yardage again. The defensive line for TOSU is still good without Bosa but they are not elite like they would be with him. The second level of the defense continues to take bad angles on ball carriers. As for Minnesota ... thought they played a very physical game and I thought the young QB looked pretty poised for a road start at the shoe. Their pass game has a long ways to go but he was far from being a deer in headlights. If you told me before the game started that Haskins would throw for over 400 and TOSU would be plus three in turnovers, I would have expected a huge win. Not the case because the buckeyes rushed for under three a carry. At no point did they look 30 pts better than Minnesota.

3. Duke dominance vs the option continued, holding GT to 354 yards, 229 rushing at 3.8 per carry. I like to point this out because it is one of the few things that I believe I spotted way before anyone else, perhaps even first. It will be talked about almost every time Duke plays against the option going forward with this coaching staff. Duke offense really sputtered and the two teams had a lot of turnovers.

4. I have to throw Rice into my unbettable teams folder for now. They cannot generate points and their defense is simply not good enough to sustain being put into bad positions.

5. Apparently the starting QB for Troy State is worth about three TD's.

6. Memphis played in the rain against Navy and lost, playing badly. Memphis played in the rain against Tulane and played badly. And after a good half, once the rain started to really fall down, Memphis played bad offense again and lost. Tough spot for Memphis next week with Mizz off the drumming and likely able to stop the Memphis RB. Anyway, be sure to check weather when betting Memphis. They really need a QB who is either a threat to run or a threat to pass. White is not proficient at either. Also, this UCF team is a shell of last years squad.

7. UTSA has the worst offensive football team in the NCAA ... or most offensive, depending which definition of the word you are using.

2........ what in hell was greg schiano doing with double high safeties all game? afraid annexstad was going to beat him over the top? instead just give them the quick underneath and the numbers to run which is exactly what minnesota did. they did this at psu after getting torched by hamler and i can see it with psu's speed but minnesota? my god schiano is a joke

I would rather take the rare big play hit too compared to the wearing down by way of the little cuts. Also, they haven't been good at all in coming up and making the tackles. the bad angles and missed tackles can make those short passes turn into something bigger with how the buckeyes safeties are playing.

UCF also overplayed the pass for an entire half, costing us what should have been an easy cover. How can you possibly give up 172 first half yards to Henderson when he is about the only thing you need to stop in the Memphis offense?

UCLA covered. Just in case you are looking for the record head scratcher. Good work VK.

Ya i go too fast grading them in here. As I ocassionally have other nonposted things (usually 2h's i dont have time to post or games listed at multiple numbers whereas i post only my most invested number here) in my spreadsheet it isnt a check figure. Thanks
