ok, that all games and side cept <small></small><small>Los Angeles Angels at Oakland Athletics and I am having a hard time capping the side.</small><small>
</small><small>Neither team has impressed of late offensively but I do like the Under here and lean toward the A's but they didnt look all that good in Houston(i may not be giving the stros enough credit though)</small><small> </small>

any thoughts appreciated

tuck, Thanks for the trends. Let me explain what I see in this game and maybe u can give me ur feed back.(as my Braves just puked...damit)
While I like trends, I look mostly at recent trends as in 3,5 and 10 games trends. If one looks at those trends he must also dig deeper to see who they played and how was that team playing at the time. I see Verlander current numbers - a 10-7 record with a 3.69 ERA - aren't up to par.
The White Sox roughed up Verlander for five runs and a season-worst 12 hits in seven innings as he suffered an 11-4 loss July 9, allowing homers to Dunn and Viciedo. He had gone 12-1 with a 2.33 ERA in his previous 13 starts against Chicago.Verlander bounced back from that outing by allowing one hit through seven innings - losing his no-hitter with two outs in the seventh - of a 5-0 win over Texas, but he then allowed six runs in 5 2-3 frames of a 6-5 loss to Kansas City on Saturday. I can see him giving up 2-3 runs today and then there is the Tigs pen which has been bad of late. Peavy 0-3 with a 7.13 ERA over his last four starts against Detroit. Peavy allowed three runs - a two-run homer to Jackson and solo shot to Cabrera - in 5 2-3 innings of a 5-3 loss the last time he faced. But Cabrera is out today! And the Under is 5-2-2 in last nine Detroit games. What I'm saying here, I put way more emphasis on SP and pens when capping most games.And a lot on feel

And on the Minni Twins game. I think the Twins are playing to good of ball presently not to put something on them today and for this series.The Mariners had their 8-game winning streak snapped with a 10-1 loss to the Indians yesterday and I dont know the inter workings of the M's to understand if that lose will affect them tonite, it may as it does some teams. The Twins took two of three from the Mariners in these two clubs' first meeting of the season at Target Field and I think Correia @ 1-2, 5.08 in his last five starts will keep them in the game. But notice I only played the Twins for a Half.
