I’ll be the 1st to admit this dude really hard for me to cap, I’m pretty sure I know why, I cap a pitchers stuff and quite honestly I feel like I could take this dude yard! Here the thing tho, he hides the ball incredibly well, lot of guys can’t pick it up out of his hand. All a sudden a mediocre cutter or fastball look a lot damn tougher if you can’t find the ball out the pitchers hands! I’m pretty blind so I knew what it was like trying to hit when you trying to find the ball as it coming in on ya! When I finally got glasses then contacts I was like “no fucking wonder I couldn’t hit!” Then I went and hit some bombs! I wasn’t around when Nestor faced his old team but that was a pretty obvious outcome as they watched him every 5tg day and I’m sure had him figured out. On the other hand these young reds have never really seen the crafty vet and he moving into a division not exactly known for hitting. He really should flourish at least until these kids see him a few times. Even money and he just gotta give us 5.1 innings? He did that in Like 70% his starts in a Div w way better lineups! Reds haven’t been scoring shit in their bandbox, you think these youngsters gonna figure this guy out right away? I do not. Great price here as I think his chances of pitching well past 5.1 innings is really good, I think he goes 6 with limited damage!

Now he might not get on base here that my only concern. We talked bout Cortes delivery above, I have no doubt if this dude gets on he stealing at least 1 base! I thought real hard bout 2+ steals at mfin +744! He could easily steal 2nd, 3rd, and could actually steal home on this slow delivering Mfer! It just a matter of getting on base cause I don’t think there any chance Nestor can hold him, poor catcher won’t have a chance, Cruz be standing at second by time he throws!

Well kinda pissed Yordan let me down cause I had few things with him and Walker, was right bout Walker breaking thru but I really thought after a few hits yesterday Yordan was bout to heat up. Can’t win them all I guess.

Meh. I’m def better capping pitchers. I tried playing dfs with baseball a few years and was awful. Every other day I would have 2 the top scoring pitchers without touching the biggest names but I never win shit cause my lineups were straight up ass! Even tho I saves money on pitchers it didn’t matter! Eventually I think I might have come up w a strategy that worked but I had already wasted so much time I clouds been making money just betting I said “fuck this”.. last year I was the 1st I started to dabble with hitter props so I had a huge head start w pitchers plus I just seem to cap pitchers pretty well for whatever reason? I’ve had plenty of success with the hitter props, not on the level as the pitchers but it hasn’t been bad enough to give up yet imo. If it starts costing me money and taking lot my time I’ll axe it but I think should get a fair shake 1st., the reason I started i noticed there not a whole lot they can do with hitter props other than raise and lower juice, few rare guys get different numbers. At the moment I’ll say offshore is hurting me cause I’m not allowed to parlay h,r,rbi props which means I prefer staying under -150. Don’t you remember last summer when Buxton cashed his over h,r,rbi every day he played for like 17 straight games! Can’t let short term results decide if there value in plays. I’d say at the moment hitter props are probably tougher as the spring weather often favors pitchers, also at this point I’m trying to speculate a guy breaking out a slump! Lot of guys like devers only had 15 or so at bats in spring training, u generally hear former players say it takes a good 50 at bats to be comfy. So far this year I agree my hitter props havnt been as good, I don’t think they been so awful we should just 86 them, and I’m pretty confident as the weather warms up so will the bats and our win rate!! If we get into June and it obvious im not making money with hitter props we will revisit! Just remember it a long season and we want to keep as many options open to us as possible! If you think it better to hold off by all means back off them but continue capping and chart how you do!!

Good god the reds can’t seem to hit a beach ball at the moment!! All I know is if they score 0 runs their last 2 home games it probably a good freaking bet they won’t score anything when they 1st get out on the road!!!

Now the question is will they leave Lodolo in long enough to punch out 6? At the rate he going it could take all 9 damn innings!!! I havnt followed since 1st few innings but im sure I dont even want to know how many 0-2 or 1-2 counts he has had where he couldn’t put hitters away?!????(?( Man that drives me nuts!!

Gotta give more props to mlb. For only 5 games today which I’m sure they had to do this to protect home openers from rain outs. This been better than some full cards far as the way the games were spread out!!! Now if they would just teach these umps how to use iPads to call accurate balls and strikes and I’ve have very little to complain about! They doing things well which is something totally new for mlb!

Fuck bro. I did it for you! Got me out my Lodolo k prop, actually made more in Cortez, it was no brainer the was reds swinging bats. Fucking Lodolo had to have at least 4/5 guys in hole 0-2 and didn’t fan any of them. I think he had that same issue last year to. He needs a put away pitch bad!!

Yeah that was a sharp AF play. Cortez ain’t great but he always sucked in NYY stadium I feel like and returning to the team he got booted from. Was a bad situation and the rebound game he’d definitely bring his best stuff against a dogshit lineup.

If you see all I wrote bout him I think I’ve finally figured out why he so hard for me to cap. Normally I cap pitch type, velo, spin, shape, when I see Nestor pitches I think “I could go yard on this dude!”., im capping the wrong thing tho, his success comes cause guys can’t pick the ball up out his hand! Being basically blind til 20 I can attest to how freaking hard it is to hit the ball when you still tryng to find it as it barreling down on you! It practically impossible so when he hiding the ball well and guys don’t see it out his hand it don’t matter is pitches belong in minor league! Of course yanks were gonna crush him in any stadium they have watched him pitch every 5th day for years, I’m sure they had a good idea where to look to pick ball up early. Hardly any these young reds hitters have seen him and these mfers struggling anyways! When you only score 10 runs in 5 games in their band box (leaving out the one game they hit) you struggling! I think Cortes will have value the 1st few times thru the crappy hitting nl central! Can’t believe I’m saying it and let’s not go telling ppl but he finna be a great bet early in the year!
