2 out nobody on. Walk, then HR.

Cubs are lovable losers.

credit them for staying in it, but it may be worth watching to see when Hoberg does the plate next time for StL as he ejected Yadi and Matheny for squeezing Wacha pretty much all night (StL announcers were also complaining about a blown call from Tuesday, too)

Buttttttttt to make this about Thursday, StL has been really struggling as evidenced by only getting 4 runs through 7 innings against unprepared Clayton Richard and the bad news bears. They also struggle with lefties, especially the soft-throwing variety (though that's really most LHP besides the studs), and that describes Locke pretty well. He's off his longest outing ever without allowing a run against lefty-heavy and probably never saw him before CLE, which besides supporting Martinez is a huge reason why I may look past the StL offensive struggles. Also Holiday is swirling around possibly being activated before the break, however I'd be surprised if that happened unless they were in serious desperation of finishing the first half in a tie with PIT (the broadcast crew mentioned with a loss tonight they'd only be 3.5 up on PIT after being 7 or 8 up just recently). Trying my best not to touch short road favorites, but I'm not sure I could pass up Martinez getting odds from nearly anyone. Doubt we'll see that big of a move as StL is always respected by oddsmakers/bettors etc

Tb broke my heart for the last time.

Had ff -0.5 and was a chicken shit ground ball away from winning.

Detroit's last 25 games in which the loser hasn't been shutout have gone 24-1 to Over.

Phillies' last 30 games in which the loser hasn't been shutout have gone 24-5-1 to Over.

Tanaka with poor home/day splits
looking back I see 3 starts for Chavez vs NYY and he is 3-0 pitching very well in all 3 - 19.2 ip, 1er

I cannot stand betting on Cleveland, but Thur poor day for Hou, Hou with little luck at site and vs Clev in general. Cody is dealing and Clev battling to get into contention (only 5.5 back in WC race and pitching staff rounding into form). Ober off a real poor start getting pulled in the 2nd inning. Not sure yet, but lean tribe.

Think we see some unders in the StL/Pitt series this weekend. Battle for first place in division and both teams missing key pieces on offense. Teams are a combined 66/91 o/u this season. Also looking at Pit series play. Pit has pitching lined up perfect for the series with Locke, Cole, Burnett, Liriano and Shark got last night off with Bastardo recording the save. They also avoid Wacha who pitched last night. Home team is 9-1 L10 meetings.

I will be @ the Dodgers game.

8-3 when I am there. Greinke should put on a show.

Houston is 5-3 on Thursday Cleveland is fairly horrible at home vs lefties. Not close to a decision on anything but just pointing out facts like OberHoltzer's ERA VS Cleveland is 2.21. From the other side Cleveland's Days of week is definitely better and Houston operating for some time short handed.

Martinez loses a lot on 4 days

I expected to be on Jesse first half and game but his ERA on 5 and I think in the day is a big negative. Strange pitcher 160 pounds and 6 feet 2

Ump in Ny is Bill Welke. 12-4 over. Think 2014 Tanaka had a good game with him. Jesse on 10.1 innings 5.23 to go with this seasons 5.48 on 5 days rest and a 3.89 day ERA. Will look more but definite starting lean to over looking at Tanaka exploding at home in day games

Didn't NBA once say that the Yanks don't score in day games, or has that gone away? You guys have me so confused.

They seem to be drifting back toward last year. Was leaning WS but just saw Cokin on them which is very scary. Amazing, Today is hell day again for Seattle. Felix really wants this win.

At Killersport 15-0 trend supporting Cleveland as well as support for Miami and a possible under in Detroit which I may forget I saw as well as a 10-0 for Pirates and a negative for Philadelphia. Will look a little more than lock in the Yank over.

There's a 15-0 trend supporting Cleveland?? That's like 5x as many starts as the starting pitcher. Does this trend involve Thursday or dew point?

This Angels game has all the elements for an under. Which makes me think some BS will happen and it will sneak over.

Over 8.5 in the Bronx. CWS, Dickey fade. Daytime snacks.

7 pitches, 3 outs. We're going to need a little more lumber than that for 9 runs.

still thinking but we have discussed Fernandez on 6 days rest. 45 innings 5-0 1.60 ERA

That really takes the cake for ridiculous, backdated trends.

As a frugal consumer, I never buy Tribe tickets until they're tied after 6 in the first game of a series.

probably not a shocking response, but he's got a completely new elbow than those stats
Ref was Scott Barry. His first meeting with a consistent home faav hater and he was playing a much better team. Still looking but lean to Miami and Cleveland right now. The Cleveland trend is not a Law but last 2 games Houston has scored 2 runs on a fluke swing and is using their worst pitcher against a quality one on a strong day while playing with a sadly depleted line up.

Off topic, tuck, but why do you insist on calling the ump a ref?

He's an ump. He's always been an ump. Before refs and striped shirts were invented, baseball had umpires.

According to Covers Brett got hit hard with Hickok. No record at suck Baseball-reference but bottom line Cleveland has a very good young pitcher that Houston has not seen while Cleveland has seen Brett a Lot. Done deal.

I'm not sold on Cody Anderson. He's a big, imposing guy. Doesn't throw as hard as he looks. And he throws pretty straight. I don't trust his sort.

i also don't trust him, but i picked him up in a fantasy league so he's definitely gonna get pounded

Sounds like Strickland for the SFG, except he does throw hard. But too straight. Don't trust him either lol.
