Thursday 4/25 MLB Discussion

Not calling a winner but recent Arizona offense has been very efficient and they saw him recently. Think they hit him tonight.

Really surprised how well Humber has been at fenway last 2 years. May take some 1st 5 inn ml and +1.5 . Nothing significant just thinking Bucholz and Bosto priced to perfection.

Small sample size, decent hitting though from top of lineup. When playing against Disastros, you are also playing against their horrid bullpen.
 
Made some plays for tonight --

Nationals ml ( some -1.5 also) -- only thing I hate here is Reds 1-5 away record already takes away from their attractiveness. Basically I said Reds were not playing well but surviving teams like Miami and Chicago. Its not 1-2 games it's Ben every game the past week and they were home. Reds hve been tough vs LH pastfew years BUT even losing rolen's and stubbs take away from that strength, , plus losing Ludwick has been huge this year - who had taken Gomes spot from few seasons back. Arroyo has been solid lately and Gio struggled badly but he has some solidstarsvs reds w 2 runs 11 hits across 19inn...

White Sox ml - Sale has 3 good starts in 4 and Hellickson has Been great his last two. Just don't like Rays v LH at the moment after Pettitte last night. Rays did not hit vs Holland and Lester at all earlier and now missing Escobar at SS, lost what has been a key bat of late...

Twins ml - Worley got on track last start and I hope it continues. Twins hve a decent lineup nd Tepesch another SP, returning g from a minor injury. With his limited track record away + the uncertainity of the injury feel he is a big question mark

PPlayed Houston F5 for like 1.5 u and +1.5 for 2.5u --talked myself into the garbage squad. Bailey has Been filthy but the guys before him have pitched a bunch lately and been so-so. If Humber can do 6 inn and 3 run would be happy. Guess play though and those have sucked for me lately..

Such a nice day here in NY -- lean over as well. Don't really like the Yanks though because its a LH and Youk is still out. Lose our 3 hitter for Nix...Yanks do need a win so would hate to fade Kuroda bit value imo on Jays. Like over HR prop
 
Hope you are wrong. Toonto has won 2 in a row 1 time this year and Yankees after last year playing with urgency.

See nothing wrong with their rested pen
 
Good stuff w sale. Makes sense a converted reliever may excel on extra rest. Like White Sox even more, so added mote and played -1.5. Like Sale 24k in 13 inn vs TB despite not being crisp vs them in 2012.

Do think think astro's pen is lacking severely in talent even if they may be OK statistical

Like the cubs too. They played Reds tough and were a key hit away many times. Thinking we all agree drastic dropoff in pitching from reds to Miami. Slowley solid but also cashed a s huge dog last start...
 
Saw thy w Toronto but think that's just a symptom of poor play. Though what's changed really...Did the over he's prop and played the over for 2 uAlso played over whit sox and tt over. Plus reversed itPlus made the cubs ml a play
 
My phone was dead....had hoops....nothing at Arizona a. Posted Oakland ml big earlier. No -1.5 though but 1u on F5. Then have the under @ Seattle for a few. Seattle+1.5 .Small ml and F5.


Reason was maurer impressed the starts v Seattle and while Richards was even better, this was his 1st turn on normal rest+ angels pen issues..

Solid day when all is said and done. Took a big hit w Oakland but hit major plays w dodgers(w the under), white sox (pushed the over) and Washington. Some solid win w Seattle gme and kc game. Other losses w Phily rl, Houston nd twins all basically were plus money risks...

Hope everyone did well.
