Goodbye to Romance College Football
Fridays for me during the college football season literally feel like Christmas Eve did when I was a kid. So much excitement and anticipation for what the next day holds.

As fun as next week is, this the last normal weekend. For me, it is the peak of the season with every week after this being just a little less important to me until the national championship game which on occasion I haven't even watched.

So I am sad today, but also really happy to have had another fun season and will be squeezing every bit of joy out of the next two weeks possible. And I am glad to have a place to come to deepen my obsession with all the great people here.

Well said and I agree, except I feel like next week is the pinnacle. Always sad when a football season ends.

True, next week is unique with alot of the really special games. I just love the calm before the storm on the avearge Fridays when there are 60 something games just waiting there the next day.
 
This is how I feel after the 2nd round of March Madness but it's only 2 weeks of crazy...so much going on almost every day between conf tournaments and first two rounds...then it's down to 16 just like that. I feel ya.

I think you might like football more than anyone else I know. You can only be from Ohio.
 
College football has been my favorite sport since I first started going to college games when I was 10. Every year I enjoy it more.

At least ski season starts as soon as college football ends and that is only slightly behind college football. By the time ski season ends spring practice has ended and college football isn't that far away. Then a few months of beach volleyball and the cycle starts all over again.

Life is sweet.
