The Players...

the gallery for that Tiger/Phil/Rick group will be unbelievable

Hard tournament to cap. Lot of different things going on at Sawgrass. If I'm not mistaken, I think there are only 3-4 two time winners here: Tiger, DLIII, Freddie Couples. Maybe one I'm missing. I know someone, maybe Jerry Pate, has won 2 Players' but only one was on TPC Sawgrass

Off the top of my head, I think JT, Sergio, Fowler, maybe Patrick Reed are possible choices for one and done. Read somewhere last night that SG: approach is a pretty good predictor of success here. If Tiger can get his putting back in order, and continues his improved driving and irons, I think he has a real shot

The Players Championship
Justin Rose +2500
Paul Casey +3000
Sergio Garcia +3300
Tiger Woods +4000
Bryson DeChambeau +4500
Patrick Cantlay +6000
Tony Finau +6600
Luke List +8000
Webb Simpson +8000
Chesson Hadley +8000
Si Woo Kim +9000
Jimmy Walker +10000
Adam Hadwin +10000

Kinda sucks Jason won this weekend, was certainly one of my top 2-3 going into next week. Prolly a Fowler fade, just never sure how he responds with that pairing...of course he could soak it in and thrive but I'll likely look for first couple round matchups to fade.

Haven't done much looking yet but Casey seems like a play on for me.

last year
WIN Si Woo Kim [-10]
T-2nd Ian Poulter & Louis Oosthuizen [-7]
T-4th Rafael Cabrera Bello & Kyle Stanley [-6]
T-6th Brendan Steele, Lucas Glover, Adam Scott & Francesco Molinari [-5]
10th Alex Noren [-4]

already chanced some "cats & dogs" with (bet/return}
Luke List 80-1 (6.25/506.25) T-9th Wells Fargo [-5] T-3rd RBC T-7th API 2nd Honda [-8] (playoff)
Si Woo Kim 80-1 (6.25/506.25) 2nd RBC [-12] (playoff)
Nick Watney 100-1 (5/505) T-2nd Wells Fargo [-10]
Kiradech Aphibarnrat 150-1 (4/604) T-5th WGC-Mexico [-13]
Satoshi Kodaira 200-1 (3/603) WIN RBC [-12] (playoff)
Haotong Li 200-1 (3/603) WIN DDC [-23]

"The Poulter-geist" looks like a play @ 60-1 WIN Houston [-19] (playoff) T-7th RBC [-9] (3rd round leader)
Bryson DeChambeau maybe the best "long shot" @ 40-1 4th Wells Fargo [-8] T-3rd RBC [-11] T-38th Masters [+3] 2nd API [-15]

still looking at tourney match plays :shake:

I was wrong on the multiple winners. There are 5 that have won twice at Sawgrass: Tiger, DL3, Freddie, Hal Sutton, and Steve Elkington. Elkington is the only one that didn't have at least 10 years between wins

Bryson and Poulter are definitely on my list in the matchups.

$5m would be a drop in the bucket with what advertisers would pony up for that

If DJ has an ounce of pride he'll be out to show the Tour something this week for being left out of the super groups.

Woods +4000
Stenson +3000
Rahm +2500

One more as well later tonight...

Just taking a few stabs on value we might not see again this year for these 3.

Moving my Casey +3000 action over to Patrick Reed +3300. I kept going back and forth between him and Stenson but that Valspar finish was the deciding factor for me.

I've also added DJ +1800. Those odds, combined with his top 3 finish % and decent RBC performance were just too good to pass up.

HELL, "Rahmbo's" BEST "to win the US Open" odds are 18-1 @ William-Hill

Oh and William-Hill void-refunded my Paul Casey 30-1 "to win" bet BUT I had to spend the $17 on another player OR players SO chanced Bubba Watson 50-1 (10/505) Cameron Smith 60-1 (8/488)

and speaking of Bubba Watson, two golf handicappers I greatly respect BOTH on Bubba Watson -120 over Brooks Koepka (60/110) so chanced that too :shake:

Tournament Matchups
Stenson(even) vs. Rose
Molinari(-120) vs. Fleetwood
Poulter(+110) vs. Finau

Good luck all. Should be s gois one.

just realized some of the LIVE DOGS in the Westgate 18-1 FIELD this week so popped it (25/475)

Alex Levy T-14th China Open WIN Trophee Hassan T-4th Oman Open 4th Dubai Desert Classic
Andrew Landry WIN Texas Open 2nd CareerBuilder (playoff)
Patton Kizzire WIN OHL and WIN Sony
Chez Reavie T-2nd Pebble Beach 2nd Phoenix (playoff)
Austin Cook WIN RSM
Brice Garnett WIN Corales
Ted Potter, Jr WIN Pebble Beach
Trey Mullinax T-2nd Texas Open
Sean O'Hair T-2nd Texas Open

and a BUNCH more "cats & dogs" besides these, I am REALLY pissed that Westgate or somewhere in Las Vegas did NOT have a stand alone Alex Levy odds. the Frenchman can shoot "wicked low" when he gets it going. SHOULD have posted him 200-1 like Haotong Li

Spieth 3 putts from 6 feet on his first hole, in the drink on his second. He should be so good here, it's puzzling that he's not

Spieth's first 4 holes: bogey, bogey, eagle, double bogey. He might wrap up psycho scorecard of the week in his first 9 holes

also these player props @ Westgate
Jordan Spieth

Stenson +3000
Rahm +2500

Ended up not adding anything.

Tiger will need to shoot in 60's tomorrow to have a weekend shot... I think he will.

Stenson and Rahm off to fantastic starts. I'll take it.
