The Open Championship Discussion...

Didnt see any coverage today, but congrats to zach. Looked like a few guys collapsed.

No real collapses late. Spieth made a critical error on 18 with a wedge. Louie burned the edge a few times late. Zach was great. Leishman played the best of anyone but when a playoff starts anything can happen.

Spieth's wedge wasn't a great effort, but his drive was the real culprit. He was so far left he was almost left of 1 fairway. Sure he had a fairway lie and a wedge in his hand, but I doubt he hit any practice shots from anywhere near that spot during practice. And a huge pull isn't exactly the last swing memory you want before attempting to get up and down from 120 with the grand slam on the line. Unlike Chambers, there were too many great players right there for Jordan to overcome mistakes. Hell of a run though

He actually had hit some balls from over there. He hit there earlier in the week and liked the angle in on the green. Granted, he certainly wanted to be closer than 100 yards out, but Im fairly certain he wanted to drive it as far as he could and ideally be left.
