It should count, if you want to check, go to last weeks match ups and see who has b. lloyd.... same concept happened when woodhead fumbled and lloyd got the recovery td, right?... check to see if they gave it to him in your league

Do you have a video of the play? Going against gore, saw he had 6 more pts today, didn't know why. I'm down 13 now instead of 7 with Powell going tonight, so it may very well cost me a win too
 
If it's a cbs league, if you go to your scoring system, there should be a number of points value next to "IFRTD" (individual fumble recovery touchdown) ... I've never been in one where this wasn't 6 points, but I suppose a commish could intentionally or unintentionally set it as 0 when he sets up the scoring system ... not sure if it defaults to 6 or not, never gave it much thought, it's just always counted. Happens a few times a year.

not agreed on but an oversight. If all had been asked when that TD took place what they thought the score was, all woulda said TD

I asked him to simply put it to a vote. To lose on a technicality was foolish, and not the intent of the league. The dude I was goin vs turned it off after that td...

I wasnt asking for it flipped my way rather a vote to the league by an obv oversight

This is a tough one bc it was an oversight. Anyone in that league, had it been addressed in the off-season, would have voted for this to be a TD during the season. You are opening Pandora's Box during the season to change a rule. Where does it end? I would be extremely irate and would probably want to run from this league as well. But let me ask you this, Twink - Prior to this oversight did you enjoy the other owners and the league? If you did, just bite the bullet and roll with it. If you didn't like the league, take a dump on them and leave!
 
Saw this happen a few years back in my league (getting screwed out of a TD), except that the defensive team took possession of the ball, then fumbled which was recovered by an offensive player and he scored. So the offense turned it over, the defense then turned it back over, and the offensive guy scored a TD.

The fuckery came into play because when the first turnover occurred, the offense was then considered the defense. So when the offensive guy ended up scoring, he did so as a defensive player and did not get credit for the TD. It had something to do with the way it's all worded in the NFL rulebook...the offensive team becoming the "defense" after a turnover.

Makes no sense why an offensive player wouldn't get credit with a TD, while their team was on offense (the whole time...lol). It shouldn't matter how the TD was scored, he's on offense and he scored a TD. I actually had Brady in the game that was brought up from earlier this year (vs the Texans) when Woodhead fumbled and it was recovered for a NE TD. I lost the TD from Brady since it was no longer a receiving TD...and was knocked out of the playoff by 3.2 pts.

You also have to get your league to go to decimal based scoring. If your guy runs for 98 yards, you get 9.8 pts, not 9 (doesn't look like your league rounds up). It makes much more sense that you get credit for every yard that your player accounts for, and it pretty much prevents ties from ever occurring.
 
Lareux I am leavin the league next year. I have seen the decimal thing and that is probably the best/most accurate. In reality I like CBS for ease/graphics, etc...

Who woulda known LOL? I have always voted to spend the extra stones to keep CBS for the ease etc. The commish is like my brother(I have none)...This was really messy man. It is an expensive league and I have played 3 leagues forever partnered up with another really good friend of mine. This one is the gold tho. We have won a few times, talk shit and folks dislike us generally. That is why I wanted the vote. If the vote came back "fuck me"....no sweat. When there was no vote, thats when I said we bounce

I get people sayin the commish is correct. Sometimes it is harder to do the right thing than the easy thing. CBS is so specific it was an obvious oversight on his end. We were all texting that night and it was like congrats and all that once Gore was on the ball. Even with the dude that lost...he said the same.

Next day he was like, "yall may have actually lost and he aint changing shit"

Well maybe we did, but everyone knows it aint right. The other team got it charged to its defense(the TD) and when Frank Gore goes into the HOF or whatever he will have that TD. The shit went on the scoreboard....whatever.....

It cost me a few racks, so sorry to be long winded

Short and sweet, put it to a vote and I dont bitch OR vacate the league

When the commish says no, is when I bounce:shake:
