The Detroit Pistons.... ('26 Playoffs Edition)...

Rebounding is the key to this series and Detroit dominated 57-42...

I'll tell ya, at HT, I was concerned. Why? That boxscore would indicate a multiple possession Detroit lead. Thankfully that start to the 3rd occured.

The Detroit offense has not been good through 2 games. Hopefully they can improve down in the sunshine state and bring the defensive intensity of game #2.

I'm kidding mate... But 11 straight home losses in postseason is just crazy stat!
Well...

You have to put this in perspective...

One this year
Three last year

2019, 2016 and 2009 were all first round sweeps at the hands of #1 or #2 seeds. That's six more there.

The one that started that streak was the Game #6 vs Boston in the EC Finals in 2008. That was a damn solid Detroit team that ran into the NBA championship team that year.

Simply put, we haven't been there much in the last 17 years.

I don't get how Detroit losses rebound battle and how Duren keeps playing below what we all expect. I don't think that Orland is 3rd seed level in the East (like someone wrote) and I do think that Detroit should match up well against them, because of many similarities between them, but Magic don't have Cade and Pistons have...

Cleveland 2h o111.5 -110 1.5 units
Welp.

The problem being on vacation and trying to bet these live is I can't keep stalking the live market. In season I'm totally betting the over "live" near the end of 3rd into the 4th.

I needed OT here. Bummer... but this series has shown that. Good pace but simply not the results.

I do expect Detroit to play with a sense of urgency tonight. The key will remain rebounding.

I hope JB goes back to how he coached the regular season a bit. That was the formula for 60 wins.

I'll gladly stalk on the live market.

Win rebounding.
Less turnovers.

They can win this game.

Early bonus, had to at this point but they are the more motivated team starting a half -- once again.
9 of 16 points are from the line.

They can't score other than FTs, yet the lead has increased.

Cade a turnover machine once again. Just off.

Live -- Orlando 3q over 23.5 -154
Incredible to lose this with DD FTA's (12 or 13).

What can ya do.

Detroit with a nice quarter on D and lose this quarter by 3 points.

Not good.

This is why I didn't bet this team tonight. Simply not feeling it.

Expected us to lose to Cleveland, but figured we could get through this series.

Game 5 is a win though. Maybe not ATS but they'll respond one more time.

Orlando closes it in 6 (if they finish things off here in the 4th).

Pistons need to change their HC. You can win a title with bad HC, but it's so much harder... JB reminds me a lot of Mike Brown...

Btw @B.A.R. something to cheer you up - last time Magic lead 3 - 1 on Pistons, they also were 8th seed playing against 1st seed and Pistons won 4-3... ;)

Btw... Coach that series for the Magic was Doc Rivers. A coach so bad that out of 13 times ever, teams lost 3 - 1 lead, managed to be responsible for 3 of them!

Not really sure if Magic is underrated or Pistons hasn't been the same since Cade injury. 8 turnovers on Cade. Duren disappointing performance too.
