Osu anything less than 7 imo. But screw that I’ll take all the passing game over again
 
Hard not to be impressed with Ohio St.

Smith vs the Thorpe winner will be awesome.

Need Texas to be more explosive on offense to hang with this team.

Playing in Dallas will help.

Gotta think Ohio St is close to a touchdown favorite, just from the performance the last 2 games.

Gonna be betting same thing I have all tourney prop wise. Smith and embuke yards + td, Howard over td passes and yards. No stopping this passing game unless Horns can generate insane pressure. I’d bring the house over and over. Yes you will get burned but could make few big plays. Gonna need them cause the offense still a mess in red zone and off script. Just don’t see another way. Osu pass props and lay it with osu and prob team total. Horns best chance bring the house and establish the run. Osu played super light boxes and ducks couldn’t run at all, I think Texas should be able to run if osu plays similar d. Then again they may not be as scared of Texas passing game as ducks which makes sense.
 
Nice coaching by Sark after two minute warning, ran three plays using 16 seconds and then first choke job by Auburn. Absolutely horrendous clock management!
 
Hard not to get caught up in the what have you done lately and blinders on, but Ohio should cruise here no? ASU had double + time of possession on Texas . Their offence couldn’t do anything for 90% of the game . How will they do vs the best d in the country
 
I took OSU at open but does anyone know what the lookahead or hypothetical line was here before today? guessing around -3? Feels like nobody is going to be on Texas after what we all watched today in both games
 
I don’t want to overreact to what we saw today, but OSU and Tex don’t even look like they’re on the same level. OSU at under a TD seems like a gift.

It's not really going against thinking. Manning is a nice wrinkle for 5 or 6 plays to run a read option and he can also throw it well off the read.

No one knows why this hasn't happened. You have to pull out all stops against a better team so we'll see.
 
7 or more I’m on Horns. Penn St exposed the Ducks D in Indy and OSU has better athletes and just went to town. Texas won’t be so accommodating but OSU is fire right now.

Excuses or not I don’t think anyone in country can cover smith and embuke while also not getting run over by those 2 backs. You could always play a 2 deep shell but half osu season why they didn’t look great cause chip was trying to get the run game going. I’m convinced osu could have ran thru everyone including muchigan but they kinda held back with the passing game knowing they could pull that out any time. Working on run game made some games closer but was prob worth it cause now I’m not sure there a way to defend them. Unless your front 4 is so disruptive they can manage the run game w penetration and still get to qb it tough to see a path to stopping all they can do. Pick your poison, get dominated on ground or get embarrassed trying to defend the WRs. Texas front is good but I’m not sure they that good. That why I lean to just playing osu opposed to props here cause I do see a world horns could slow the WRs down but then Henderson and Judkins will have big Games. Imo they the most complete offense I can recall in last 20 years.

I don’t really agree with no rematches., the sec championship game often had them and made for good tv.
 
when teams play each other a bunch of times, some of those times team A will win and other times team B. Championships are won by teams who happen to win multiple games in a row.

It’s kinda mind blowing to me you find that game relevant, by that logic you been getting crushed by them the last few weeks. Did they even try to pass against Michigan?

Fair point but what’s the difference between his point and yours before the playoffs in which you doubted the Irish because they lost to Northern Illinois?

I don’t think I doubted Irish cause they lost to a team in week 2, I doubted them for lot of reasons, mostly the offense not the d., I prob made a point of whether a team who loses to that team deserved to be in but I havnt used that game at all when it came to actually capping the games in front of us. Shockingly I’ve ended up on Irish both games. Game 1 was mostly cause I was fading the fraud that was Indiana but gm 2 was a lot more to do with the fact I didn’t think Uga offense be able to move the ball vs that d and I did think Leonard legs was prob the biggest edge either team held. If I used the uni Loss in q argument against playing them it was just me running my mouth cause I don’t remember; I’m sure I used it for a case if they belonged but not a particular cap since I’ve played thrm

also id say osu has made a drastic philosophy shift coming into these playoffs. I’ve brought it up previously but I think they could have looked like this most the year had they decided to be a passing team and just air it out to those stud WRs but they brought chip in as oc to try and establish a physical run game as I believe they thought they needed that especially against Michigan, since that loss they have turned it loose throwing the ball which imo makes them a totally different team, a team I’d bet woulda had a redic margin of victory had they played this way all year. Dont blame them for the way they went about this season tho as it appears they were building for something. Now they are practically impossible to defend, you almost have to play a 2 deep shell to have any chance of stopping the passing game, problem is they worked very hard on the run game all year and with 2 nfl caliber backs they out to be able to run on anyone who chooses to play that kind of pass d. If it was me having to try and stop them with Texas talent up front I would play 2 deep and force them to beat me with long drives on the ground. You dead if the WRs are roasting you: run games driving the field much harder to sustain imo. Obviously the issue w that is it could have texas offense sitting on the sideline for long stretches. I leaned ducks last game but luckily props were most my plays and hit them all besides Tez who was in and out w a injury. Just don’t think you can stop osu offense, maybe you can slow it but it will take a monster effort from the horns front 4, they gonna have to control the run Game and still get pressure which is asking a lot.
 
Big difference for them is their OL got better. If you watched them play Nebraska, they were absolutely awful all game. Couldn't block our DL at all in the run or pass game. Refs helped them out a lot - otherwise they lose and aren't even in the playoff.

I liked Ohio St and Texas in their last games.i just feel Texas is getting zero respect in this match up and I believe they are every bit as good as OhioSt
