THEN they decided they wanted to score. Moved a hit faster and hit some chunk plays. Quite the contrast. I'm assuming he noticed the backups.

SOFT defense was awesome. As they should be with that payroll and a bunch of 5 stars. The OSU offense was average AT BEST. They didn't crack 300 till late in the game. I understand shorter possessions but they really weren't doing a lot with those TBH.

My impressions out of that game...

SOFT defense very good, almost great

SOFT offense solid but nothing like 2019-2022 teams at all.

Indiana defense very solid

Indiana offense no chance vs elite DL

I just don't think the final score reflected this game.

24-7 maybe? We can take away that last IU drive.

I just didn't see this as some crazy ass beating. The better team won, and with not much of a scare once the 2h started. No doubt. But, they weren't moving the ball at will, at all.

No question my take is mainly it was a no contest simply do to how lopsided the matchup was on the other side of the ball

Really want to play at least one of osu wrs here, I feel like they the difference in this game, I still can’t believe osu money couldn’t do better than fuvking Will Howard as the trigger man for their nfl wrs! Shit, if I was a big time qb I’d take a discount to play for them cause your stock should skyrocket with those WRs! Howard doesn’t really do it for me, kinda makes me lean more to egbuka in the slot, his number 50.5, like his run after catch ability and just think there be a few easier throws to him in the slot than having to throw to smith on the outside, he uber talented but I think Howard holds him back.
 
Does Howard not run a lot for Ohio State? Over 9.5 rush yards. I'm thinking Kansas State Will Howard would crush that number

It confused me that I read osu spent the most portal money and Howard was the qb they brought. I know they brought in chip kelly and Judkins to supposedly supercharge the rushing attack, which honestly for most part I thought would be better, I suppose Howard fits with that but you fucking osu freaking wide receiver U! You have a slot kid who a 1st rounder in Egbuke, you bring in another freshman who supposed to be the next best thing at the position, and Will Howard was your choice while dealing out transfer money? Feel like they coulda done way better for themselves than Howard! It like my mom driving Ferrari, my moms great and all but it look kinda funny having line of cars behind her Ferrari all pissed off she barely doing the speed limit!! If I was one these mercenary qb’s I’d prob even take a nil discount to play with these WRs and the best they could do Will Howard! I didn’t get it when I read it at beginning the year and still don’t as their whole season has looked odd to me!

All that said im saying fuck it, tonight Howard’s night! The path here is obvious, I think you can throw on vols long as you can pass protect, Milroe with less talented WRs threw all over them for a half he just didn’t finish drives. I say Howard somehow looks like a qb tonight, forget running, throw to those nfl WRs, stop with the run game shit and let it rio over and over to your 2 guys I don’t think vols can cover. Egbuke in the slot I like more just cause think those are easier throws and he sick running after catch but think they finna try and force feed the young freshman stud also. I played both WRs over their yards, Howard’s over passing, Howard ov 1.5 td passes and osu tt ov 27.5.. this total opposite of what I been thinking bout this game being a dead under for 2 weeks but fuck it, I say this the qb you settled on let him throw the damn ball all over, give your 2 nfl WRs 10+ targets each and don’t make this a slugfest with vols like you did against Michigan. That prob won’t do any of that but from what I’ve seen from vols d I think this the way to attack them, I don’t think they can cover those WRs along with worrying bout the 2 stud RBs. Show them run action all night, give them some screens to slow the pass rush down, and just throw the shit out the ball, they kinda did that vs ducks and despite losing that was about the best their offense looked. I know none of this happen but that what I’d do and I bet if that way just for shits and giggles!!

Yea it really didn’t seem like a fit unless Kelly was wanting to run some goofy bull shit offense. He just missed a open wr

It's 9.5. espn box says 9 right now. Unless he breaks a big one sacks could always take it away, so it will be game long thing. But yeah WRs are in so even 2 out of 3 will be fine if has to be. Hopefully he has some more runs

Unless vols start scoring you would think lot of running coming in 2nd half. Sorry I thought it was 7.5 not 9.5 and yes sack def possible but think you be ok. I need them all I put them all together a few times. Thst 2nd td pass only thing worrying me
 
Nice win for OSU

They came out passing and that's a recipe for success.

Pass to set up the run. Pretty simple.

Tennessee was a disappointment overall this year as a whole.

Looking back, they beat Alabama but that was about it. Their schedule was average at best.

With that being said, with the auto bids gathering the top seeds somehow they had to face a top 4 team early. Bummer for them but they weren't better than a 8-9 seed anyways.

On to the Rose Bowl. Man that's gonna be fun!
