Ive always had a soft spot for the Suns. They drafted my dad out of Eastern Illinois in 1976.

It was the 7th round when they had more than 2... he participated in the LA summer league they had back in the day but got injured when he was back in PHX so the Suns cut him... he then got picked up by the Buffalo Braves (now the LA Clippers) but they cut him pretty quickly.. he is a member of the Illinois basketball hall of fame.
That is crazy .... And still hasn't had a coach that removed him from blowouts. He's the useless stat king of the NBA.
