like it bro...here ya go, from steedarino (little assurance for ya):
The righty Tim Hudson toes the dirt tonight versus the sub par Dbacks at 4:40pm EST. Hudson, pitching a strong 8 inning no decision last time out, as been more than superb this season. In his last three outings, Tim is 2-0 striking out 11 batters, 7 of which glancing. In those three games, he has an astonishing ERA of 1.59. Looking at his seasonal stats, not much of a decline. Hudson is 10-5 on the season with a combined ERA of 3.24. In all 22 games, he's pitched over 144 innings and given up just 53 runs and 4 longballs. He has nearly doubled his strike out to walk ratio at 86 K's to 34 walks. Versus the Dbacks, Hudson continues this reputation. He is 3-0 career with a 1.91 ERA pitching in 5 total games. In addition, he has fanned nearly 30 hopeful batters. Tim continues to be a gem from day one of his career until now. He is a solid 129-65 in his career with a humble 3.51 ERA. A total number of 1241 strike outs highlights his career too.
No sweat when looking at this Diamonback offense versus Timmy. This entire roster for the Dbacks has hit one total homerun and just one triple versus Hudson. A combined batting average of under .200 for the big studs in the lineup too. Aside from those stats, much of this Arizona lineup has never faced Hudson and are going by film scouting reports. Boy are they in for a suprise.
Looking at the big righty Livan Hernandez for the Dbacks, there are some distinct differences. His numbers are not in the same ballpark as Hudson's. Hernandez is 1-1 in his last 3 games giving up nearly 5 runs and walking almost 10 in his innings pitched only. He is 6-6 on the year with over a 4.50 ERA and giving up 21 dingers, 157 hits and walking almost just as much as he strikes out (57:67). Livan has never pitched against this Braves club this year, but the key stat is this. In his short career, Livan Hernandez is a brutal 3-14 versus Atlanta. With an ERA of 5.09, he's given up over 150 hits. A total of 81 runs given up in just 143 innings isn't exactly "elite". That is well more than a run every other inning. Look for Livan to get those twinkle toes on the mound tonight when throwing to this ancy Braves squad.
The offense of Atlanta is a sight to see when Livan Hernandez is on the rubber. The Braves offense, already one of the most explosive in the league, tend to tee-off against this righty. The Braves as a team bat over .350 against this guy. Big names like Chipper Jones, Andruw Jones, Livan Hernandez, Julio Franco and Jeff Francoeur get that tingly feeling when they hear Livan is throwing. These guys combine for a .475 batting average against him career. Look for the Braves offense to slap the sticks early in Arizona and walk out with a convincing win, and a needed one at that.
