just not as much as i question sox ability to plate runners.. and while danks is no scrub, after seeing sale gotta think he a welcome site for a team that typically tees off on lefties. i figured tampa to give me 5 at least and thought that be enough to cover the rl.. just feels like a repeat of when cws were in hou and kept having these lefty lefty matchups except tb lhp are better and they hit lefties harder...
TTaking a stab w cws...I agree they stink but price took 70 pitches to whiff 10 and throw 7 inn...that's absurd but happens so many times vs houston....no one questions how many pitches price will throw? He may be done at 85 if that 70 was a pitch count ....

basic thing is stats are meaningless , they are guidelines really........what bad team has good stats? and vice versa
if CWS stats were attractive they wouldnt be terrible as a team and 200 underdogs
Beckham former #1 pick has been a bust last 2 seasons but hitting .336 w 4multi hit games in past 5 .....
Rios hit 300 w 25 hrs and 90 rbi last year and has slumped recently but not that far off last year...pace is 22 76
Kepp hit 376 s LH last season in 117abs or so ...owns TB in limited atbats

I'm aware of that but all these guys are underacheiving except Alexi. If the White Sox batters were doing what they did in 2010-2012 they would be close to first place. these guys are all in a rut is what I'm saying. Everything you are saying is about potential, I get that. White Sox lineup has potential but they consistently fail.

and they wouldn't be +200 we agree on that ......it's like what I said the other day w Hamels @ Pitt...guy is +125 and no one is talking about that play as obvious because of his 2013 record(and Pirates record). It's all meaningless 2010-2012 and 2013 ...all that matters is that day .....I haven't bet CWS recently or in this series that I recall .....I took them last time Danks went I believe so what they did in the recent past is irrelevant to me because I have not lost money on them. I pick spots I like...most here pick prices they like....I would take CWS all the way down to +140 here...because I fade Price doesn't mean I think he will get beat up either....3 runs may be enough.....just like Zimmerman yesterday by whole bet is made on the premise what does the game look like if he duplicates his last start and allow 4 runs in 6 or 7 inn ? And I was lucky enough to get that and still lost 5-4......it's all guess work

well regardless how it ends up think it safe to say tampons were not the safest of the big favs to play the rl today. prob lucky to even have the lead, more troublesome is mendoza may actually be worse than i thought possible, good god, he has only had maybe 4 starts all yr where i thought that kind of start would get me in trouble and none b2b..that has all changed, what a asshole.

Gaudin returns from the DL but it wasn't a true arm injury instead it was just a comebacker that hit him in the throwing arm. All we need is for Gaudin to pitch like he has this year and avoid getting shelled. If that happens and Clayton does his thing this should be a tight, low-scoring game. I'm a little nervous about the visitor/over correlation, but if Kershaw shuts the Giants out I don't think the Dodgers can hit the over themselves.

yea guess wasnt the best of plays, lol..but hell i mean i went thru every start of his this yr and seriously only found 4 that i thought would have been bad enough to keep kc from being in this gm. and none of them were b2b well until now..seriosuly all i wanted was 5/6 innings of 3 run ball, even 4 wouldnt have broke my heart. guess if we wanna go all hindsight if i felt that way over would have prob been a good place to look..

Not liking Gaudin and don't like to see Kershaw w an 8 then 9 inn start despite solid pitch counts.....
I'm laying the over for a medium sized play .......back a few years ago I used to bring up how I would look to play overs for SP with consecutive 8 inn starts and bothw 2 earned or less.....maybe some guys remember that .....well Kershaw fits that pattern
