Sunday, July 29 SDQL

JROCK1966

Pretty much a regular
Overall YTD: -$427.18

Since July 5th: +$80.47

+$38.28 last night only because I went larger with the Red Sox. Record was 3-4.

Looking at these two games for today. Phillies @ Reds & Rays @ Orioles. They popped up for the situation of a home team in July AASB, on a Sunday, off a +3 run win, and have a losing win differential than their opponent. Historically the record is not good at 1-7 SU and the only win was a 3-1 win with Jose Quintana pitching. Quintana was in the midst of a decent July back then with a 2.79 ERA. I don't think either home starter is in that type of form to overcome the mojo for the road team today.

I take back the not being in good form comment about Castillo. He might be. He's got a 3.00 ERA so far this month.

Never mind. Bundy has been at his best, by far, this season during the day and with the way the Rays have been playing like sh*t, the only play would be to back the O's again and I'm not necessarily willing to do that. Think I'm gonna have to pass.

Phillies are 3-0 away from home after a loss of 3 or more. Reds are 4-0 at home after a win of 3 or more. Eflin not quite as good an ERA away from home but he is 7-2 overall so the Phillies give him run support. He is also not currently in good form as his 4.91 ERA in the month of July indicates however, on the season, he is at his best during the day. Flip a f*cking coin!

BOLTA!!

Mariners @ Angels: This is about the only one I see that has some consistency. Home teams on Sundays AASB in July and who won by more than 5 runs on Saturday night are 2-0 SU and 2-0 RL. In addition, I'm on this mailing list from SDQL. They sent me these trends on the Angels/Mariners matchup for today in pic 2.
