The offense been so garbage I hadn’t even noticed he has been also. Seems pretty much like the numbers the dude they traded away had before they demoted him from closer. All Those aggressive moves totally backfired on them, that a shame cause it will just discouraged teams going forward, cheap asses like cards be like “remember what happened when pads went for it and made all those moves!”.

I was hoping they turn into the biggest challenger to lad, maybe what @Vap'sBack said awhile back bout tatis suspension demoralizing them was true? I didht think it would have that much effect on teams mental state, not for sure it did, something ain’t right tho, even without tatis adding a generational bat and 2 other all stars to the lineup shoulda made them pretty formidable! I’m sure at some point they started pressing which never helps ya get out a slump. Can will your way to do better in baseball like you can other sports.
 
I have no clue if they play the nightcap? It just got done pouring here, still some lighter rain behind it, I’d guess they play but it prob starts 30-60 min late.

4-1 on these w cards over to go, I’m sure there gonna be a delay which sucks as I feel like when teams have to sit around waiting to play you often get lackluster efforts. Guess we could get that from the pitchers also but my perceptions is delays hurt offense more.
 
And wtf wrong w the blow jays? These Mfers got outscored 22-3 in a 3 game sweep at hands the crappy halo’s, at home! Laa had lost 6 of 7 on this road trip then beat jays asses for 3 games!!! Playoff race gonna be tight, i hope they look back on today and realize getting punked by some crappy lhp what did them in!

How old you think I am? Pretty sure I don’t qualify as young by anyones standards, I listen to everyone w something interesting to say! I’ve been against pads a ton since then, just giving you credit for bringing it up long ago (your welcome :) !! ). Honestly I’m still not sure that why they suck, it might be but I’m sure there other factors. I think they pressing, that not a sign of giving up.

I don’t feel anywhere close to 33!!!

In some ways I’m a old 44, lived a long hard life, played hard, worked hard (sometime), partied hard, body already starting to break down!! I was still a beast at 37-38 but then I started getting progressively lazier, 1st stopped hitting gym so hard, then started working less, then covid hit and I really didn’t do shit for a year, started getting back to being more active and this fucking shit happened w my eye! Soon as this bubble gone I’m gonna give it one more go lifting like a maniac and getting into beast mode before it too late!
 
I feel like this rain delay didn’t do me any favors on this total! Both pitchers have these guys swinging early and making soft contact. Freaking game flying, pens won’t even get involved to 7tg or 8th! Only chance Is cards figure oddrizzi out 2nd time thru order. Fuck
 
The game flying but the ball isn’t. Few off bats sounded good and died in front of track. Goldy hit one that sounded pretty good but died. Edman just robbed a base hit on a hard liner!

I’ll never know how Odorizzi didn’t give up a hit for 5+? Then all a sudden we wake up and get 4 hits in a row
 
God forbid we pitch hit for a Mendoza line hitter! Can’t do that to king yadi, just let him kill the inning! Why not? He been calling the shots here for years. Plays when he wants and ain’t taking day off so other guy can catch!
 
Look At yadi catch the ball and listen to waino sing! They both so amazing!! At least waino can still play! He should pitch 10 more years before he tries making a cd!!
