This is COMPLETELY out of the Thunders control. Not to mention Pacers aren't going to make it out of round 1. Bit of a reach here don't ya think? Thunder dumping a game now to set up their finals opponent?

I don't think they would, I just said what I would have done.
After all, if you are set at the 2nd place and can't go up or down, you can allow yourself to play a bit mindgames and to try and do some calculations, what is the best scenario for you.
Thunder worked hard all season to secure top seed and almost did it and now, they can mess a bit with those that still got something to play for...

It is not completely out of the Thunders control. If Indiana wins this game, they pretty much win the East.

Meaning Miami has to play both Chicago and Indiana, the later being on the road, to get to the finals.

Thunder playing pickup style ball early... probably going through the motions. Still good enough at it to possibly win. But no sets, etc. thus far.

Hoping to see a long break for Durant when he sits soon.

Yep. Sometimes in the NBA you have to throw capping aside and play the line Vegas provides, Indy v OKC maybe one of those occasions.

Making OKC a dog would induce money (public and otherwise) all over the Thunder.

Portland vs. Golden State....

Blazers -3.5 is a fairly decent line in my opinion...Golden State isn't playing very good basketball but Portland did just clinch a playoff spot off a last second Dorrell Wright 3 pointer. Could be a slight let-down by the Blazers here but Golden State is running isolation plays for Jermaine O'neal....I don't see that being too promising

So clips and OKC are tied 2-2 in head to heads, what's the next factor to determine who goes to the higher seed? Conference record? Anybody?

I doubt OKC loses all 3 and Clips win both their games but I guess the possibility is there.

I love how the Western Conf is shaping up in matchups. Some great series potentially. GSW and Clips would be very entertaining as they hate the shit out of each other. Port/Hou would be a good one too. Spurs/Mem will not be a lock for SA. And OKC/Dallas won't be that great, OKC should roll.

Dallas could beat OKC.
