Time to get the ball rolling!!

July 1st is just a day away, but we're starting to see the reports of those resigning and announcing comebacks filter into the news...

LeBron is back, shocker. LOL.

Harden is planning on another run with the Clips.

Ayton has been bought out in Portland.

Portis is heading back to Milwaukee.

Jabari Smith Jr 5/122.

Julius Randle extension in Minnesota.

Davion back to Miami.

Lonzo Ball traded to Cavs for Okoro.

Duncan Robinson is opting FOR free agency. He can be part of a sign n trade.

Jaylin Williams extended in OKC 3 years/24 million.

Naz new deal with Minny.

It's insanely possible that Beal will be bought out for a record breaking amount of money. He is not wanted and if he doesn't take the buyout, there's a chance the Suns will be paying $55 million this season for a bench player. This is what happens when a cute kid with money comes into pro sports and treats it like a fantasy team. Suns this year were a toss season anyway. Incredibly good draft considering no one here expected anything given the complete Michigan State makeover of the team. Devin is basically in charge of the team at this point and knows this next season is a toss. Future looks kinda bright at least. Got three rotation players in the draft once Beal and Allen are off the books.

I need some of that koolaid you're on if you think Ayton will make some meaningful difference
You know, I have a strong feeling that Shaq wouldn't have even made a roster in any of the 30 teams in the NBA today, with how low the respect for Centers today. Ayton is a true Center. He obviously not Shaq, but he in the paint, he is good on both sides of the floor (yeah, I know people aren't crazy with his defense)...

Ayton would be a good fit for the Lakers. 15-10 guy, a block a game, just enough rim protection and just enough of a post presence. And he's not a liability at the foul line. And holy shit he's still only 26?

Great fit. Price matters.

I figured that MPJ would be traded.

Gordon too reliable, so one had to go.

Both these guys are set to hit FA next year -- but Cam had a better upside at this point. Breakout year and I don't think that's just because of a bad team. He should flourish with Jokic.

Nuggets need to tinker a bit more in order to get back onto that Championship level.

Wow...did I sleep a month?! It feels that way looking at all the moves!
Wish Lakes got Capela! Hope Ayton is a consolation prize!
Big moves by Denver, but they need more depth...

As an ISU fan I might be a little biased

Denver signing Bates (MU) and Jones (ISU) was huge. Both will make the rotation and score because they absolutely needed to add three point shooters. Both will do that in droves.

I wondered why you guys were so pumped about the Beal move a few years ago.

Tried warning ya.
Pretty sure I wasn't but maybe I'm misremembering things

I hated the KD move. Beal was possibly the last time I ended up either in jail for picked up off the pavement by jimmymo

He can score, but will be play D?

Will he fit into the culture?

Can be effective maybe not seeing as much volume shooting wise?
He won't play D, but so many players there can cover for it. Instant scoring I think was the issue for Knicks and for Thunder... too many minutes they couldn't buy a basket...
As for culture, I think he should be fine. Moved a lot and can't remember bad things about him and many great D teams had that gunner that mostly comes to put up points and hardly there on the other end of the floor...

I have almost zero knowledge when it comes to college players, unless it's number 1 pick or they have Israeli passport ;)

You did say he would "thrive" as the #3 guy.

But, also mentioned that the trade was incomplete until you saw what they received for Ayton

I think Denver bringing Brown back and getting Johnson while losing Porter is a huge win. Of course brown older now and Johnson injury prone but I wasn't a porter fan. Of course always comes down to which Murray they get.

Very true.

Murray showed some of that bubble form in the playoffs after honestly looking old at times..

Shall see.

They still need a little something else but a winning day for the Nuggets.

How you remember this is insane. I say things then misremember within a couple minutes
