Pretty much a regular
Excellent story about California prep star QB Jake Garcia's (son of former Nebraska QB, Randy Garcia) transfer to play high school football in Valdosta, Georgia.
In order to satisfy Georgia high school rules the parents had to get a legal separation and pretend to be getting divorced
The move makes a lot more sense to find out controversial high school coach Rush Probst is now the coach at Valdosta.
The only negative is the story reminds me of how mad I was--still am for that matter--my parents wouldn't allow me to repeat a year of junior high so I could get bigger and stronger for high school ball the way this kid's parents did

A legal separation, a 2,300-mile move and playing HS football in the time of coronavirus
Football's always been a family affair for elite QB prospect Jake Garcia. But when California postponed its high school season, the USC commit and his parents embarked on a long, strange trip to get him on the field.
