Stidham QB

Are you sure?

In his first career start, Jarrett Stidham was 23/34 with 365 yards and 3 TDs.

I’m sure. And they lost. He’s not good. They caught the Niners sleeping in a lookahead spot.

I’ve said from the beginning I’d love to find a way to take Denver. I’d love for him to throw for 400 yards Sunday.

You don’t go 7 full seasons in the league on 3 different teams and at no point have anyone in the league say “we want this kid to start” for no reason at all.

I guess we'll see.

Current Player Props with my primary local lists:

Maye over under 19.5 completions on 30.5 attempts for 224 yds
Stidham over under 18.5 completions on 31.5 attempts for 191 yds

🤙🏽

A league MVP vs the worst backup in the league

Surely you can see the correlation of a team that should be winning and running the ball more vs a team forced to throw from behind. 🤘

Versus the Chargers and Texans Maye was sacked 10 times. He also had 6 fumbles, losing 3 and 2 Int's. Now he gets to go up against the best defensive line in the league, leading the league in sacks. Good luck. Games are won and lost on the line of scrimmage.

I wonder why you left out other key pass and rushing stats?

If I were thinking of betting Denver I would be more concerned about how bad their D looked VS the Bills , they were awful, why?? Not to mention offense was not very good at all. If Broncs lose I do not think it is Stidhams fault
I expect both QBs to be running for their lives and I've harped on Denver defense not being elite as they've been portrayed but the Denver D-Line v NE O-Line is a mismatch and Maye is certainly not as elusive as Allen. Could be a really ugly game.

Feeling cozy with my Donkeys +6…. Was surprised to see it reach +3.5. Broncos injuries are harsh, I could see Bryant stepping up and I have a TD prop +420 blaze it up.. 🤙🏽 As I mentioned above I project the Broncs D to make a major statement in the absence of Nix (next man up) and I projected a Patriots TT of 20. I’ll got ahead and take a whack (1/2 unit) at the current Under 24 (-120) and will have fingers crossed that 24’ shows up. I’ve always believed in my man Vance and he will bring the best out of this defense with some schematics taking advantage of strengths and matchups. VJ was a colleague of mine at CU Boulder Business School many many moons ago (we partnered on a marketing project) and the man has always been impressive to me. Watching him climb the ladder to Broncos Head Coach recently was a beautiful thing, and well deserved. I believe he will be a Head Coach again within the next 2 seasons. I’m certainly a tad biased, but he’s a difference maker as a DC and I believe he will have these guys on a different level tomorrow. Edge rushers are the most valuable in the game on the defensive side….watch this. 🍿 🎥

Donks 23 Patsies 20…A FG fest, with some red zone stall outs and a 4th down stand or two. Hey enjoy the game, this thread certainly should die a good death..circling back on 3 important points of mine:
1. Is Stidham, (bottom 10%, terrible, nobody was interested 😳etc) that much of a major drop off from CJ STROUD? (Not Maye this time, CJ)… ☝🏽☝🏽
2. Are the Donkeys completely finished in the AFC without their starting QB? I think the line movement proved that false
3. Is Drake Maye (the top MVP candidate) possibly unproven and inexperienced regarding pressure situations at altitude, on the road, in the AFC title game for all the marbles? Perhaps I’m not far off, I know some of you great peeps know me and also know I’ll be the first person to drop back in here and say I was incorrect. Honor always,.. but I’m telling ya, I think this total package of a Team….from HC to Stidham’s backup Ehlinger is complete and will cover the line and maybe more.
I’m feeling cozy with my +6 (-120), with VJ and Sean, and my guy Stidham at QB to guide this ship to Super Bowl 60. A live, and rabid dog with fangs. Crazy Train 🐴

Cheers to the barrelman, and old boy Johnny Elway as honorary captain tomorrow….or now today. Let’s Go

Wolfeman

Couple of more props I’m adding to the Bryant TD +420 🍻
Bryant over 34’ (-122)
Maye under 262’ passing/rushing -110
Borregales over 7’ pts (-117) 2x… 💪🏼

I dunno, it may be the conspiracy theorist in me but I find it fishy that every single talking media head is pushing the Stidd narrative down my throat to ensure ratings and build hype.

An interesting cover, strange game…weather shut it all down. My appraisal of Stidham was that he did enough to win the game and at the same time that 2nd quarter two hand pass/turnover handed the Patriots their only Touchdown. That mistake was immense… I had a feeling Vance would dial up some trouble… and can’t blame the defense. A few moments and thoughts I had that made the difference,

A. You take those points!! Pisses me off more and more coaches today and how many points are left on the field. Stupid, You had a chip shot to go up 10-0.
B. That two hand shovel pass turnover on den15 yd line 🤣 Stidham looked silly there and handed them their only TD…
C. The same play Donks were in position to try and run the clock down into the half…made all the difference.
D. The FG attempt that was unbelievably blocked in the blizzard. Made all the difference!
E. 4th quarter Denver gets the wind finally, and can’t do a thing on that field
F Horrible INT by the journeyman at the end…no idea what that was.
G. Denver WR’s dropped 8+ passes that were inexcusable…Skeleton crew offense
H Really never had a shot with Lil Jordan Humphries, a beat up and hobbling Marvin Mims and Elijah Moore at wideout, just brutal, almost comical.
I. Rookie Harvey wasnt even close to being able to primarily carry the load and solo…… with only McLaughlin as a backup
J. Maye made enough plays to earn playoff respect, that late first down with the wheels was a clincher…well done Drake

Gotta hand it to you Wolfe…win or lose great grab on value
Nah….i provided much more than a posted value grab. I think I dropped an angle no one belived in, and some diligent Insight that worked into a winning play for all Broncos Backers. Consistently swimming upstream through the thread.

I guess the only remaining question would be… was Stidham a major drop off from Maye this past Sunday? I will say Stiddys two handed turnover was the difference in the game. And Maye’s legs put the team in the Super Bowl. Well done. 👍🏼

I’ll put on my flame retardant suit now and ask…..Would you rather have the mvp Maye or Sam Darnold at QB for Super Bowl Sunday??

Sam has back to back 14-3 Seasons with the Vikings and Seahawks. Drafted in 2018 with little chance at success with the Jets and Panthers. SD Plays with a chip on his shoulder as well, as we all recall the debacle playoff game losing 27-9 to the Rams after eating 9 sacks for 72 yards and a fumble that resulted in a defensive TD and a pink slip out of town.

I haven’t laid my SB wager yet…I do hold a Seachickens ML ticket. 2-0 in the championship games….lets finish this 3-0

Or..

Stidham sucks as I said, made one good pass all day and we lucked into a cover. 8 drops on 14 incompletions? Love to see a source. Couldn’t find it. Elijah Moore played 7 snaps but yeah let’s toss him in there.
He sucked when the weather was fine. And then it was a wrap.

And Sam Darnold over Maye. In this scheme. With this staff. Every time.

Think the Seahawks are the much better team. Patriots rookie LT looks atrocious. Thinking the NFC championship was the defacto Superbowl ..

Wouldn't be surprised if the NFL does everything it can to keep this close after last year's beat down , but I'm going to have a hard time not Alt Lining the Hawks up to at least 9.5
