Well I withdrew most of my 5Dimes money after football season specifically so I wouldn't blow that bankroll on the Olympics. However I still have some and some of my other outs offer Olympic plays as well so I will definitely be doing a lil gambling. Did pretty well in the last Summer Olympics but don't know shit about the Winter except for what the google tells me

Hannah Kearney -105 to win Freestyle Moguls - 1 unit wager
Read some of her quotes and she's quite confident with the new format. Says she has plenty of endurance and doesn't seem too worried about the grind of the additional rounds. She has recently dominated the sport so feels like solid value

Max Parrott +350 to win Men's Snowboard Slopestyle - 0.5 unit wager
He won the gold at the X games and the other favorite who's also Canadian cracked a ribs at the X games last month. If Parrott and McMorris land their tricks they should finish 1-2. I should probably just bet them both but I like Parrott a touch more

i'll be here gambling as well. shrute, we're in the same boat as far as knowledge and google goes. maybe i'll use bing and we can compare notes?

Parrot play is a great alternative to McMorris although I think the latter still wins it even with rib issues. The trash talking has began since Shaun White dropped out, calling him out as someone who can handle defeat. He will win gold in the half pipe but this was a different element.

You might want to take a look at the women's curling and look at Team GB, Muirhead is good….like probably one of the best women's curler in a long time. Jennifer Jones is going to have her hands full there.
If you want to pay the juice but pretty much have close to a guarantee, look at the men's luge and there are the Latvian bros, they rarely ever lose but you have to pay the price though lol.

Don't forget about Sweden in the women's curling...they are the favs so the price might not be great, but Jennifer Jones and Canada are the 3rd horse in the race there.

They aren't the favs, team Canada is

Really? At your book you're saying? I read an article that said Sweden and Great Britain were the favs as they had won the World Champ and Euro Champ. Sounds like you're getting a bargain if you get either Sweden or Britain as a dog of some sort. I'm not sure how they have Canada as the favs.

I love you play on Britain in this TM, those are great odds you got them at for sure.

THE FAVORITES
They met in the world championship final in March, the European championship final in November and are favored to reach the Olympic final on Feb. 20.
It's 1-1 between Eve Muirhead and Margaretha Sigfridsson in major finals over the past 10 months — Sweden won the Europeans and Scotland won the worlds — so the Olympics could be the decider.
They will be able to size each other up immediately in Sochi after Sweden was drawn to play Britain in the first round-robin session on Feb. 10. Both skips will be looking to make a statement ahead of a possible rematch 10 days later.

Sweden remains atop the women’s pre-Olympic rankings, with Canada in second, while Scotland/Great Britain — who won the 2013 world championships — Switzerland and China round out the top five.

Lareux,
yes Canada are substantial favs in terms of odds, its a bit mind boggling but I think it's based strictly on rep.

Yeah, that's what I don't get though. Canada hasn't won gold in the women's event since the first time curling was a sport in the Olympics. They took bronze last time out, and didn't win the Worlds this year. Where are they getting the rep from?

Jennifer Jones.

Bernard won Silver in 2010.

Adding:

Canada O9.5 Golds +120 risking 0.5 units
Three projection sites I'm using. 1 site has 9, 1 site has 10 and 1 site has 11. Figure its worth it getting the positive juice

France O3.5 Golds -110 to win 0.5 units
All three prediction sites have them winning 5 golds

USA to Win Most Golds +225 risking 0.5 units
Of the three sites, one has them tied 13-13 with Norway, one has USA 16-14 and the other has USA 15-14

Norway to Win Most Medals -120 to win 1.0 units
Prediction sites have 33-32, 37-33 over Canada and 39-35

Austria to Win Most Silvers +2200 risking 0.5 units
Number is just simply way off. Should be closer to +800. They also have good value to win most Bronzes at +1800 but I feel better about Silver

Pechstein +350 to win Women's 3000m Speedskating Risking 0.5 units
Finished 2nd by a hundredth of a second in the 2013-14 worlds

My main shop has terrible odds there and I'd have to empty what little left I didn't withdraw from 5Dimes to make a 0.5 unit wager on it. I like it at Rexy's number but I'd have to pay -850 at my place
