I think Brentford looks like a good fade in general
Man they did very well last season, to finish 10th exceeded my expectations for sure. The significant odds for relegation are on the three teams that got promoted. Leeds, Burnley, Sunderland. Never bad to simply fade those three early on imo.

But isn‘t it true that their new manager has zero experience? I think at best it‘ll take time for Brentford to get going

Arsenal with the early lead

Bit of a fortunate win for us today, United probably deserved the draw. But Arsenal haven't lost away since last november that's impressive

Man Utd could be a decent team this season. Attack line of Cunha Mbeumo and Sesko is looking good. Upgrade a few other positions and they could get back into top 4 or 5

Palace on a bit of a nice run after the end of last season beating City in FA Cup final and Liverpool in the Community Shield last week

Guessing they might have a shot at competing for top 6/Europa this season. Likely not far off from the Newcastles of the world, maybe even United/Chelsea

They might lose Guehi and Eze. I think finish around 10th place

No Europa league for them because Lyon stayed up and better league standing than Palace, so Palace will play Conference league, sucks for them

Sunderland spent a lot of money this summer and I think based on what I've seen it was smart money - I think they stay up. They spent the 6th most this summer but its a good blend of youth and experience

Brentford lost their entire coaching staff and a number of players, could be in trouble but I think they figure it out. Seems like a smart organization

I think Wolves could be in trouble this season. They've done very little after selling players early on

Wolves are my A1A for likely most overvalued and absolutely I think they teeter on relegation, similar to what Palace dealt with for a few years

15 year old Dowman subbed in

The guy is probably our best ever player to come from the Arsenal academy. Has been training with the first team for a year

@~Utah

Looking at your "easy" fixtures until end of October, Spurs could be 1st in the league or very close
We still need to bring in a 10

Kulusevski is now saying he could be back in September despite reports he wouldnt return until December.

I hope I'm wrong but we will struggle for two reasons even with an easier fixture list

1. We will struggle against a low block without a 10. Sarr is playing well, but this isnt his position
2. Our depth. As soon as Champions League starts we are going to have a problem especially if we get a few more injuries.

Early opinion, but Arsenal is in pole to win the league.

Yes true these games against mid table teams that can defend very well and still score can be tricky, even more 3 days after a CL game

In CL I think you should just aim for a spot between 10th-15th place. Doing this and the KO round to qualify for playoffs you should be big favs anyway

Not overplaying your starters in both CL and league. Last season we did and lost to injury Saka, Odegaard, Havertz and a few others and title hopes were over at Christmas

I like where we are but starting lineup I still give Liverpool a small advantage. Especially if they get Isak. So if they stay healthy, won't be easy

But offensively yes we took a big leap, still need a few weeks/months to integrate the new guys and play better

defense is a weakness for Liverpool - could shore that up this week though

Yes has been talk of Guehi for a while. Palace might buy Kiwior from Arsenal if they sell Guehi

Would be ok because defensively we have good quality covers. Yesterday we missed White but I didn't even notice

And for Spurs, on MOTD they just showed the stats with Romero + van de Ven and without them, huge difference! If they stay healthy good things are definitely possible

This Celtic match is embarrassingly bad. It’s a shame I put more than a dollar on this. Wouldn’t be upset with a late Celtic goal though.

Almaty qualify for the CL

100 miles from the chinese border. 8 hour flight from England, teams will hope to avoid this trip!

Haha how do you not score in 210 minutes against a team from Kazakhstan?

Depressing time for Man Utd fans. Season has barely started and best they can hope is a deep run in the FA cup. No Europe in midweek

Still early days and they can focus on the league but I don't think they will get into top 5

PSG with a tough draw again

Bayern Barca Atalanta Leverkusen Tottenham Sporting Newcastle Bilbao

-200 to finish in first 8 but I wouldn't be surprised if they don't make it like last season

Commentators say it's not a foul because it's a natural football movement...but doesn't the position of Chelsea player's foot indicate that he got there first? Yeah he has to put his foot somewhere, but it lands on Chelsea guy's foot because he was there first?
