****Soccer is the Greatest Sport on Earth In-Game****

Yes he was a fan favorite at Arsenal. Gave everything on the pitch. Still playing when he doesn't need so he must love it

Also lots of turkish people in Germany and everyone love a kebab!

Where were you in Germany?
Oh yes I ate so much doner and yufka lmao. I was in Tübingen and Freiburg

Now that I'm awake I really need to get wasted after tonight

That was why cats hibernate. Or they should.

Late June has some incredible stories and incredibly rotten ones

Anyone up for Vegas?

Yes I am trying to cut out doner kebabs.. not successful!

Never been to Tübingen but it looks like a fantastic little city, perfect to get a good evening in town and walk home late

I went a few times to Europa Park which is the 2nd biggest theme park after Disneyland Paris. Near Freiburg so you might have gone there

Also I live in the same city (Freiburg) name but in Switzerland. Both were founded by the same guy in 1100 something

"Ederson made his first save vs Al Hilal in the 112th minute but conceded his fourth goal of the match in the same action."

Goalkeeper from Al Hilal was incredible tonight. Had a great World Cup last time with Morocco and left for Saudi. Likely could play for a top club in Europe

I remember Freiburg was close to Basel. Wanted to go there but never ended up happening. Did I miss out? We encountered some Swiss folks though. It was common, if I recall correctly, for financial reasons to live in Switzerland and work in German. Definitely a different-sounding German!

It's possible I need to block you on FB

Freiburg Switzerland you mean? Old town is nice but that's it. Very small but really nice because we have lakes and mountains nearby

Bern is my favorite city. 20 minutes by train. Also founded by the same guy!

These days I think it's mostly opposite, frenchs and germans living near the border coming to work in Switzerland with higher salaries here

Never been to Europe but Iceland and Switzerland are now on the short list

Mom did a semester somewhere in Germany but still struggled trying to count to ten

I have never visited Austria, so that‘s on the list, although I worry about their accents. I would love to go back to Italy.

Looking bad for OL (Olympique Lyonnais)

From mattspiro twitter:

Lyon need to raise €100m before next Thursday's appeal hearing - AND provide guarantees that a further €100m is coming in over course of next season, L'Equipe report. Otherwise their relegation stands.

John Textor's Lyon legacy:

- Accumulated €540m of debt ✅
- Sold all-conquering women's team ✅
- Sacked popular coach Pierre Sage (after he'd taken them from 18th to 6th) ✅
- Replacement banned 9 months for headbutting a ref ✅

Bayern very good so far but still 0-0

And looks to be a bad injury to Musiala just before HT
They just called it a knock

That was not a half of futbol that was a pretty 0-0, it was the kind that people who don't like watching it were justified. Pretty bad.

I think that was ok, need a goal to open up things more.

If they called it a knock they didn’t watch the slow motion replay, ankle looked fucked up. Musiala may be out for a while

I think you hate Chelsea no? I mean that would make sense.

I don’t hate Chelsea. In football I only hate Mourinho!

Also seems we buy a Chelsea player every year. This summer Kepa and looks like we want Madueke too. They may want our kid Nwaneri. Strange nice relationship between the 2 clubs for transfers

Doue goal gave me wood

Now 10x11 lol but correct call so now the sweat. take a red right now is send you off to some club in Luxembourg worthy

Bananas

Fucking terrible decisions by PSG. I hate Anthony Taylor with a passion but these were two easy reds

Both reds were at least legitimate. Can't argue with either.

Now PSG gonna have to readjust the squad for the semis though

I think he just wanted to hear his voice on the loudspeaker

It was a bogus call but AT needed that one last dance

PSG player foot was very high near Bayern player head. Anywhere else on the pitch it’s a foul for dangerous play I might have given it as a pen

But anyway yes could be tricky without 2 starters in defense next game

Mbappe and Rodrygo on the bench again. A few PL teams very interested in the brazilian
Mbapp playing 20 minutes the other day is about his max for awhile

Gastric situations drain you, hard to get physically fit after that for at least a month at best

Yes true. Lost some weight. Frenchies think he should try staying at this weight because he had bulked up a bit last few years and lost speed

Looks like Real will sell Rodrygo. I would gladly sell Martinelli and get him

!!!

Last twist of FIFA Club World Cup pricing strategy. 72 hours ago, standard admission ticket for first semi-final (Chelsea v Fluminense) at $473.90. By yesterday, $44.60. Now $13.40. Those who bought on Wednesday paid a 35x multiple of price today

These prices now mean it will be cheaper to buy a ticket for Chelsea v Fluminense than it will be to buy a cheesesteak ($15) or beer ($14) in MetLife stadium

(from AdamCrafton_ twitter)

Can you imagine how unhappy you must be if you paid for tickets before the price reduction
