Yes correct. In new format doesn't matter as much as before since every team play 2 teams from each pot

Likely all 6 PL teams will qualify in the 24, even Spurs!

Miracle that no one died. Lots of injuries

I've seen videos of before, a few guys started hitting the car, seems likely the driver wanted to get away from them and the crowd that surrounded the car and broke the rear screen

Not sure why they hadn't blocked the street completely, perhaps driver took a wrong turn

Only missing CL but next season we should have a good chance with the 6 english teams

Followed an ambulance in that was coming in because someone had a heart attack

Thanks I didn't know about the ambulance. Not sure why people outside started hitting the car and I don't know what would be the best move as the driver to get away from this situation peacefully. Scary situation
 
Today marks the 40 years anniversary of the Heysel tragedy in Belgium where 39 people mostly italians died in the stadium before the CL final between Juventus and Liverpool. With hundreds of injured people. After english hooligans started fights and caused crowd panic and a wall to collapse

English teams were suspended for 5 years from all european competitions (1985-1990)
 
By the way, Tom Cruise and David Beckham are discussing the match on an alternate Paramount channel, which is kind of funny in its own way.

You watch the Wrexham series? I don't have Netflix but Fx is showing it unedited other than ads. Probably just need to binge watch it at this point. Saw a couple episodes of season 1 then saw a season 3 episode the other night. McIlheney is hilarious, the episode I saw feature their game at Birmingham City just after Brady bought in. It's amazing what RR and RM have done for that city. The change is insane, getting tickets is damn near impossible.

Just finished Season 1. Fun show. I could do with less of Rob and Ryan, but the soccer stuff is incredible drama, and they have a heck of a manager.
