****Soccer is the Greatest Sport on Earth In-Game****

How come your English is so good and colloquial when you‘re Swiss?

Thank you, I think most swiss young people these days are good in english. Have to use it everytime we travel outside the country. But talking is not as good since I don't use it everyday

We started learning english at school when I was around 13 years old, now they start a few years earlier

And me personnally watching and reading about US sports has helped a lot. Also I like english better than german. It all started in high school (gymnasium here) when a friend downloaded LOST on CDs for us to watch! Must have been 2006

I would dare to add that the swissgermans hate Germany in general and not just German lol. I remember getting jeered when I wore my Germany jersey and the people I was staying with, the guy told me it was forbidden to wear a Germany jersey in his place lol. He sometimes would revert to dialect even when I was there and his girlfriend had to tell him to speak hochdeutsch for me, but yes I could tell that some people were very disinclined to speak hochdeutsch, which made communication very difficult for me, like I was bothering them just by speaking lol. I wonder if they would have spited me less if I spoke English lol but hochdeutsch would have been the easiest for everybody. I thought it was interesting that the art museum guide asked (in dialect) if everyone could understand her, I felt bad being the only one to ask her to speak hochdeutsch, but I feel like one guy maybe knew I learned German and respected me a bit for it because he kind of nodded at me. Overall it made me miss Germany where the Swiss tourists would speak the German I know, but even then they sounded so different from the Germans I'm used to hearing lol! I'm glad that I was with Swiss people when I visited Switzerland, as I think I would be too shy to go there alone.

Yes I think we have a love/hate relationship with our bigger neighbours!

Like when the frenchies play sport, us swiss-frenchs are always rooting against them. But at the same time we watch french tv channels everyday and we like them too a little bit!

Swiss-germans futbol players all dream to play in the Bundesliga. Same for swiss-italians in Italy

And France is so close we can be there in 2 hours. Great places to visit

Crazy race for the scudetto in Italy between Napoli and Inter

Both will play on Friday instead of Sunday, because if they end up level on points a superfinal will be played on Monday

Media talk that Spurs have put the Ajax coach on the short list to replace Ange. Name is Farioli, italian guy.

And looks like Paratici will help decide who they go for. Surprised Spurs are bringing back Paratici after he was suspended for financial fraud at Juventus

The only thing I know about the Ajax coach is what happened - that guy cannot come to Spurs

Paritici has been in advisor role during his suspension and honestly a lot of the best signings are thanks to him

Kulusevksi, Betancur, Udogie and Romero were all thanks to him. I want to say Van de Ven is well but not 100% sure.

He was going to AC Milan initially but it looks like that fell through

Spurs are building quite the bureaucracy right now, they just hired a new CEO

Yes I have read the same from other Spurs fans saying he was mostly very good on transfers. Not so good they said Richarlison and Gil

But Paratici helped in signing Conte for Spurs (and apparently wanted Conte for AC Milan for this summer if he went there) so I would worry if he was friend with the Ajax coach! Another italian

I think likely that the new coach will be announced quickly after season ends, can't waste time for transfers

Or, fantastic game from Spurs tomorrow, easy win and you decide to keep Ange!

It might be all about KDB today but the highlight of the day for me is seeing Rodri dressed out and on the bench
