****Soccer is the Greatest Sport on Earth In-Game****

Spurs need to re do their entire team from top to bottom. No motivation whatsoever to come back against the 18th place team. Leicester score 2 day, the same amount they’ve scored in 6 games combined. Just totally wide open in the middle of the field.

Ange talks about entertainment, but there is something way more important than that in sport and that’s winning.

Levy/Lange while the entire league is bringing in new players are sitting on their ass and just watching this.

I’ve wanted Ange to stay - but the team is pathetic. He needs to be fired

Very unlucky with injuries to key defenders, but seems Ange has not managed to really improve the defense and set piece defending. Which I feel should be done in priority by a new coach to build good foundations

Do you think the players are still with the coach?

I think I would give him a lifeline to have a shot at winning the league cup. Evaluate after that.

If a change needs to be made, getting a guy who knows the PL is good like Pochettino at the time. Iraola and the one from Brentford the best options from smaller clubs in my opinion.
But like Brighton did with the young german coach not a bad choice if he is very good

Its a mixture of Ange and the players not being good enough. Ange talks about entertainment and its great they score goals, but not protecting the lead and not changing your stance is 100% naive. Theyve given up the lead more than any other team in the league (I think 21 points dropped now from a leading position). While also having the 3rd most goals in the league. He's made no effort to change that since last season where it was a similar story. Someone needs to tell him that people want to be entertained but they also want to WIN and protecting the lead is part of that - not "playing our football". I wanted Ange to succeed, I really did and I know its not a s straightforward as rolling the ball out in a certain formation every week - he changes things, but hes getting outcoached every week by dropping a lead. They won @ Hoffenheim this week, a team fighting off relegation in Bundesliga and people are like HUGE win. Hoffenhiem almost came back in that game...a team like Spurs should not be barely beating Hoffenhiem...but I guess considering they lost to Everton and Leicester, thats where they are now.

Taking this Leicester game - they score their 2nd goal on a wide open shot from the top of the box with acres of space around the shooter. How is there no midfielder their defending their midfielder? Or why arent Davies or Dragusin stepping up in that situation? What's most maddening is they had two of these same chances in the 1H and they happened to miss - so how as a manager don't you go back and say we cant let this happen again?

Porro is also a terrible defender, and this isnt talked about enough. Both goals today came from his giveaways in their own half. It feels like half the goals theyve given up have all been on that right side from a cross on the left on a man he or Romero or Dragusin should be covering.

A lot of blame at this point has to go on ENIC/Levy as well. When half your starting players are out and you've made no efforts to improve on that situation in the transfer window that is maddening. He wants to pretend we are a big club, but part of being a big club is paying big club markups. The hope is they find a diamond in the rough and thats how Brighton operates, not one of the biggest clubs in the world. They were ready to give Reguilon away for free in the offseason, and now hes been playing in the last 6 games because there is no one else.

Thanks!

I had to go check and yes Spurs have the 3rd most goals scored!!! While having more goals conceded than any team in the top 10.

I have only watched your games against us and highlights in BBC match of the day, but the criticisms I read online from Spurs fans is that Ange refuses to adapt his strategy/tactics and he is not great at in-game management. About same as you said.

Not sure what's next and if he can turn it around, but prioritizing the cups make sense. Also no more CL teams dropping to Europa League so very good shot to go far

They need to beat elfsborg this week which as any game they play.. far from promised. If they lose and have to play an extra round of knockouts in late February… that really fucks them. The next 2 weeks are the most important for Ange’s time as a spurs manager
