Obviously we'll see a bunch happening here but lets keep this to key ones for handicapping next years team.

First up, and it was expected...

Portal State has added Jalen Berger as next years RB.

This one was in the making but will be interesting as he was a locker room issue at Wisconsin. Either way, Tucker out and moving on next years team already.

I woulda thought y’all get Ricks but maybe back to Cali with Lincoln gps
I've heard Boutte may be interested, not much on Ricks. We have a serious numbers issue that I'm not sure how it's going to play out. My guess is there will be a bunch of players who enter the portal from our side too

Y’all and the numbers is like the Saints and the salary cap.

I know Vols feel pretty confident in their chances there too, so it'll be interesting to follow. Believe I saw his adopted family is all Bama fans

Pretty sure he's good friends with Will Anderson too

What is crazy is that Haener was at Washington once already! Man, if he would've stayed...but at that time they had Browning and then Eason came in and out goes Heaner and the rest is history.

Not sure how that is going to work out with Huard the heir apparent.

First things first though...so doesn't care about playing for Fresno in their bowl? "Screw you guys I'm outta here"

Great move for washington, Haenar helps stabilize next year imo

How is he going to be eligible next year? He already transferred once and you only get on transfer without sitting out.

Did he sit out when he transferred to Fresno St?

I'm pretty sure he did sit out a year. And then the covid year adds on for everyone and since he sat out for the first transfer, he can transfer this time without sitting out. I think? These kind of eligibility factors are hard to keep track of and I usually don't. But he must be eligible next year.

Yep. Also, he was a senior so that may factor into the eligibility as well.

He’s also come out and said he hasn’t yet committed to UW and said anyone saying so is wrong.

Huard hasn't earned anything in the couple games I've watched him.
Huard is going to be a good one, but he is not there physically yet -- still needs time to add weight and get stronger -- some kids are fully matured at 18 y.o. and some aren't -- Haener coming back is HUGE for the UW imo

LFG Dawgs

I would expect one. I do think they can win some games with their current guys. One rumor out there is McCall from coastal and his OC coming.
Ive been drinking but what about Myles Brennan?
He’s been hurt over college but am I crazy? Or he goes Okie St? Or lesser school?

Anyone familiar with the wording and legality of the NIL deals. Take Ewers, is his compensation dependent upon his let's say relevance or actual playing time, and is all that money guaranteed or is it drawn out and spread over a number of years?

I think it’s real loose. TAMU seems to be figuring it out with ease

I don’t know about Ohio’s law but I’m pretty sure that the NCAA prohibits NIL based on performance. Making his NIL deal dependent on relevance or playing time seems akin to making it contingent upon performance. *

*This is not legal advice. I am not licensed in Ohio. I'm just a caveman. Your world frightens and confuses me.

So let's just as an example say Ewers is a total bust. Maybe just life goes off the rails and kid never has any kind of impact on any football team ever. That $3 million is his at once? These companies don't pay in lump sums, I would assume they spread it over a period of time...like, if somebody is charged or convicted of a crime, they have some fine print to cancel future payments? I should probably research it myself to find these answers, but thought it might've crossed some other people's minds.

Is there a way or a site to search players in the portal from a specific school? I particularly want to look at FCS schools, not sure if that makes it harder?

Saw he was there this weekend. Doubt he goes if Lebby actually takes the OU job though. Who knows with that kid though
His relationship isn’t with Lebby. I will believe it when I see him dressed for the first game though based on his history.

Utah had an in home with Syracuse TE Landon Morris tonight. He never even played for them, felt deceived by how he was recruited. Word is he'll be a Ute.

Oklahoma TE Austin Stogner in the portal, 2nd team all B12 last season is visiting ISU this week, already been to USCe and then to tOSU. Would be massive to get a replacement for Kolar if he lands in Ames.
