Minnesota vs Texas Tech -13.5....Alot of points to lay in a bowl game but TT clearly the better offense and practically a home game for them too. The Gophers struggle with the passing game while Red Raiders are 2nd in the country in passing yrds per game. TT should put up LOTS of numbers on the board against this defense.

Rutgers vs Virginia Tech....This match up was hard for me to cap. Pretty even in my book. Both good defenses and both bad offenses. It should be a low scoring game but you never know with these two teams. Probably will be another boring game if you don't like a defensive battle. Only one way I could bet this being that the total line was already set low.

NC State probably better talent but coaching changes and inconsistencies their last few games are keeping me away. Tough Vandy defense should keep this game low scoring. If they can force NC State to go in the air by getting up on them early, it will play into Vandy's great pass defense and game plan. Vandy covers.

Iowa St vs Tulsa ML (+110)........After beating Tulsa in their season opener, Iowa St has gone downhill winning only 5 of their last 6 games. I think Tulsa is the better team here and too much weight is being given to that Iowa St win against Tulsa. 2 teams going in opposite direction at season's end.

Clemson vs LSU -6......................What can I say. Yes, Clemson's offense can score, but they are facing a very good SEC team. Clemson's loses have been against SEC teams, South Carolina and Florida St. I don't think this outcome is going to be much different. Probably will be my favorite bowl game so far. Love the Mad Hatter. and if you like stats, how's this:
LSU is 9-1 in games played in the Georgia Dome. The Tigers are 4-0 in the Peach/Chick-fil-A Bowl, 1-0 in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Classic and 4-1 in the SEC Championship Game. The only team to beat LSU in the Georgia Dome was Georgia in the 2005 SEC title game.

USC vs Georgia Tech +7.5................I had mixed emotions about this game. USC has so much talent even without QB Matt Barkley, but now I understand that their most exciting player, Marqis Lee, got injured in practice. I don't know how official that is but I have to consider it. USC doesn't want to be there. Period. Their attitudes reflect it. If it wasn't for the injuries and lack of motivation I think USC would be probably a 10 point favorite. Tech has a decent pass defense but a mediocre rush defense. USC will have to run it alot to stay ahead I think. Somehow I think USC pulls ahead and wins this one but it will be closer than we think. I'll take the points and hope USC comes out flat. Georgia Tech wants it more.
