The Jays don't want to see NYY clinch the East tonight in Toronto. Severino makes only his 2nd start after a stint on the IL and has struggled in 2 of his 3 starts vs TOR. Meanwhile, Gausman has tossed 12.2 inn vs NY allowing only 2 runs this season while splitting 2 starts both in NY. TOR has won four of L5 meetings and NY may have a small letdown after getting 2ns straight sweep over rival BOS. I wouldn't be surprised to see Judge hit HR #61 tonight in his first game away from Yankee Stadium pressure in a while. Splitters can be very hittable when not working and Gausman does give up his share of dongs, so Judge may be a decent option for prop bettors. As meaningless Sept baseball goes, this should be a fun watch tonight. I'll stick with TOR at near even as my top selection in this mediocre short board.

I hope everyone plays responsibly and within your own means. Although I've had a good season, it has been a roller coaster and very trying at times. I would have probably aged 10 years if I would've had life-altering amounts at risk...lol. My units are whereas 4 units posted = one real unit for me personally. I do this because it's just easier for illustrative purposes in my posts. In reality, all my plays are between .5 and 1.5 units at risk. I mostly always set wager amount based on "risk". Also of note, with Sept being what it is, I always reduce my unit value 50% for all regular season plays starting Sept 1.

Simple SDQL says big chalk over -200 in the last 10 games of the season in the previous 10+ years have won nearly 80%(79.3) for an easy 10.6% ROI. They've covered RL 61.9% for 10% ROI and the total has sailed over 59% for 12% ROI!!!

This makes sense if you consider loser teams mailing it in and tryout pitchers getting lots of work.

If you eliminate ridiculous lines over -300 the ROI swells a little to 11.5%, but you leave 14.5u behind :haveanidea:

Crazy stat: In game #162 when FAV is over -200, they've cashed 86% of the time for +21.5% ROI in the last 14 years, even better on RL at +27.2%
Not sure about the correlation, but the total also went over 69%

Even stronger @home as same big chalk over 200. SU the FAV went 20-1 +32.2%, 17-4 +46.4% on runline and 16-5 +47.4% to the over! :shocked:


Even in the history of the database(since 2004), the numbers still look great. SU +17.6% ROU, RL +33.5%, OVER +21.1%

Some teams, I just never could figured out while other seemes fairly easy.

CHC, BAL & TOR were my best teams combined when fading or backing.

The Braves were absolute worse as I never seemed to win with them on either side.
