So what about Saban? Is that just antibodies? The timing of all this really sucks. It better not be Plandemic - The Sequel. Hope everyone stays safe. Guess Georgia Bama gets rescheduled by this time tomorrow. Boooooooo

Lol.....maybe he wanted his defense to rest another week due to that track meet against ole piss?

If Saban not coaching.....will Sark open up the offense more knowing that Saban won’t be chewing his azz if a play went wrong? Gonna wait till Saturday to put in my plays on Alabama this week.....

serious question, I know saban great at his job but far as what he does on sidelines on Saturday is that really valuable?

It's a good question. I know he traditionally has the OC and DC call plays and he chimes in every once in a while, but for the most part lets them do his job. Obviously the decisions to go for it on 4th, onside kicks, personnel decisions etc are his call. Hell, we have about 25 former head coaches in the building, seems like someone should be able to fill in for a game

From the friend of a friend of a cousin of a friend files....

I am at the vet right now and the tech walks in with an Alabama hat so of course we start talking football and she said they are talking about canceling the game and more info will come out later today. She said apparently the state patrolman who provides the police escort was the one that had Covid and that’s how it was transmitted. Again, this is about as hearsay info as you can get, but I figured I would share as it would be funny if she was some inside source who actually gets this right haha.

I know they supposedly not allowed to have contact during game but something tells me a guy like him will be in some lackeys ear who can relay a message he wants delivered! Lol

Saw Bama went from -6 to -4 on the Saban news

that where I’m having real problems as I just don’t know he makes that kind of difference on the sideline??? Most players outside qb not worth more than a point for Christ sakes!!!

Well guys you lettin me down with no discussion on this game tonight. Im in Illinios now and wanna just make bets now don’t want to come back later!!!! Guess I’m gonna trust myself and take the dog who I think might be better than!!

I've been thinking about this, maybe too much, but everyone knows that Saban runs a very organized program with high levels of delegation and accountability. He isn't a play caller, so while him not being on the sideline can't help, I'm not sure it hurts as much as it could at other programs where the coach is far more involved in the actual execution of game plans, etc. Maybe I'm looking for silver linings, but if Saban has accomplished what he tries to with the program, it should be able to run itself without him being there temporarily

I agree. I think his ultimate strength is as a program builder who delegates to smart ppl to do their jobs.. I’ve never thought of him as one the guys on sideline impacting the game. His genius is in the preparation and the fact all his kids and ppl working for him are better than everyone else’s!!

Rumor is that Saban will be on the sidelines tomorrow. Have heard it on the message boards, but also a tweet from Desmond Howard today. If you're inclined to bet Alabama, might want to get that -4 while it's still available

wait, Saban has had a couple of -'s? one or two more and he'll be on the sideline.
shocker

Have vols really Earned laying this number? Yes they went and won a tight Game at scary, which I think prob bout equal to uk losing tight game to Ol piss. Whipping mizzou does nothing for me. Uk beat themselves at Auburn. And last year this was a dogfight when uk was play a wr everyone knew wasn’t gonna throw a pass at qb!! And it was still a 4 point game and uk had it late down by vols end zone!! I think Uk more improved and we getting 6?? Yes please. The under 45.5 has appeal as well.

I agree with you. Plus the added wear and tear from playing UGA last week

With the comments from Leach this week, y’all think they lay another egg or play with renewed energy?
