The rangers are a road fav today. Theyre 8wins 1 loss as a roadfav this year. Their one loss was against Toronto.

Columbus is 3 of 5 as a homedog, also 1-2 at home with an O/U of 5, Minny 1 of 4 as roadfav, Minny also 1-4 when on the road and a O/U of 5

Pittsburgh and Colorado in a day game today. If Sabourin starts he is 1-5 in day games ever. Colorado 7-0 on Saturdays.

Other teams that have excellent records on Saturday in action today: San Jose, Detroit, Boston, Nashville...Colorado and Nashville though are the only 2 where the success is disproportionate compared to other days of the week.

I think Nashville is overpriced for a divisional match-up at home not vs Detroit (unless their #1 goalie isnt going, which I am unaware of). Nashville just ended a long losing streak, and when that happens a team usually records their next win rapidly afterwards.
It's been over a month since the Preds recorded consecutive wins, and they're playing a home & home sequence vs the Hawks.

I'd also strongly consider Over as well, since Chicago off a loss recently has had subsequent games total 7, 10, 8, 6 & 7 goals.

True BC, I also have Chicago losing in an UNDER in my sequence thingies...But that under trend isnt that solid. The losing part is however.

My edit pre-empted your Under thoughts. Nashville has been conceding a few goals, as would befit their losing streak they just halted. I'd guess 3-2 minimum if Nashville won.

is there any positive arguments for betting on wash, buff, toronto?

i see some strong cappers on wash.i know they suck, but i can't see why.

I actually like all 3 of those plays rufus. Here are a few positive arguments: WAS are 8-0 in their last 8 vs. Northeast. Wash has won 4 out of last 5 against Mon and last 2 in Montreal. Wash lost 3-0 to CLB and the line moved in Wash's favor??? I really think Wash was looking ahead to this game. Mon still has a lot of injuries to deal with. I only like Buff if Miller starts. He is an East Lansing, MI native and has been playing great the last few games. Lindy is a master motivator and gets his team up to play the elite teams (see Boston game last weekend). Like my chances with Miller and these odds. Philly is not an elite team IMO and Tor has a knack of getting you when you least expect it. Tor always has a lot of fans at these weekend games within driving distance and they usually come to play (see last game at Pgh).
