NYY (4.8 rpg) & TOR (5.3 rpg) are the 2 highest scoring teams in the league, yet relative to their efforts against their other AL East foes...

NYY vs.
BAL - avg. 9.31 rpg (10.83 rpg away) / 5 games of 10+ runs
BOS - avg. 9.58 rpg (8.67 rpg away) / 6 games of 10+ runs
TBY - avg. 7.92 rpg (8.71 rpg away) / 2 games of 10+ runs

TOR vs.
BAL - avg. 12.08 rpg (12.83 rpg @home) / 6 games of 10+ runs
BOS - avg. 11.61 rpg (9.43 rpg @home) / 5 games of 10+ runs
TBY - avg. 9.15 rpg (7.14 rpg @home) / 3 games of 10+ runs

...they've stunk it up offensively when it's come to their facing the other...

NYY vs.
TOR - avg. 6.00 rpg (6.50 rpg away) / no 10+ run results in 10 games played

Both teams average more playing the lowly Rays offense (3.7 rpg) than they do vs. each other. Their combined averages make for in excess of 10 runs, yet they've failed to deliver a single 10+ run game this season (last season they delivered 8 in 19 meetings, 4 @each venue).

yanks/jays ov 8. tananka gives up a lot of hrs, dont think he can escape another gm with jays getting away with a couple solo blast. really dont think estrada has it in him to shut spankies down again. think we finally get some fireworks in this match-up after bunch of pitching duels..

The Toronto game is interesting. 16-6 homer ump. Tanaka does give up a lot of homers
Both pitchers have a 3.75 ERA with ump. Hidden stat I know. The Yanks have been Very strong on the road in the day this year.
The 16-6 plus Tanaka's giving up homers does create a lean to Toronto but This is a big game and Estrada has been hit hard at Toronto. Probably a pass for me.

Relating to Verlander at Houston.
There is a real problem with Leans that do not involve study.
Verlander on 5 this season
13.2 inning sample 7.24 ERA 0-2
Bill Miller is the ump 21 innings 6.43 ERA
Covers shows Verlander
Losing by 3 at KC
Losing by 4 at Detroit
Losing at home 13-9 to WS and winning at home by 4 vs Texas
Hugh playing at home with this ump in Colorado won 6-2 vs Saint Louis
Houston along with the Cards has a GREAT home record vs right handers
and Houston is 16-4 at home last 20

Leans. Sort of dirty word but KC and Cards. Maybe Atlanta. No real ump info in the Seattle game. I suppose we are supposed to bet it under. Standard Hernandez on the road in the day.

No wagers for me today.

Took out some of my winnings today and going to buy me some toys and take my lady out for a romantic day and night in Santa Barbara.

Thank you baseball.

Gl guys. Hope you all kill it.

Reading good things about Estrada. NY away last 2 years in the day is 24-12. Real problem

Starting to get interested in the Reds. They lost yesterday and tomorrow is death. Price very high for this match

Tampa average. Mostly an ump play. Colby with Cooper 6.16 ERA over 19 innings
Archer over 12 innings 2.25 ER

if Farrell was diagnosed a month earlier, the redsox might actually have had a chance at a playoff push... freakin insane 24 hours

Both pitchers in the SF game have good history with the ump. Peavy better. Maybe a total play
