Ryan Perrilloux leaves LSU??

I was really hoping that this kid would figure it out after his previous transgressions. Hopefully Hatch can step up and be successful. I honestly wasn't expecting much this year since losing so much talent on both sides of the ball.

Yes it was coke. He supposedly has a pretty big habit.

Then again so do I.

I have 1 and only 1 problem w/ him ripping fat rails.

How fuken dumb do you have to be to get caught on a drug test w/ coke?

I would bet my life, they didn't give him a hair test and it was your traditional urine test, in which case, the coke would of left his system in 1-2 days, the latter being the max. Did he rip a fatty before he pissed? Dumb fuck

<HR style="COLOR: #fdde82" SIZE=1><!-- / icon and title --><!-- message -->The VERY inside story is that the lawyer "friend" that's kept him out of past troubles gave him some coke while partying and Ryan was drug tested the next day. BUT this will prolly never be made public.
I'm no "inside guy" but I do live 20 miles from LSU and know peeps that know Perilloux's family.

I posted this at another site earlier this year when he was suspended from spring practice. It may not be 100% accurate but apparently part of it is true...too sad.:hang:

Whoa! I cannot believe the worry I am seeing by the public on forums and in letters mailed into my favorite LSU sports commentators.

If this is how the nation feels about LSU losing Perrilloux, then we may be catching a few points of value in the early season before everyone realizes we will succeed with Lee/Hatch.

Here is something to wet your appettite until Spetember... if LSU opens as less than 30pt faves versus Appalachian State in the season opener, then you will have a bet on LSU in Week 1. My guess is LSU -32

I will be the first to admit that LSU has a rough schedule. We have to go on the road to play Florida, Auburn, and Arkansas. We also have UGA, but that is in Baton Rouge. I think we lose 2-3 games, win the SEC West, and lose to UGA in the SEC championship game.

They lost two games last year with a very favorable home schedule and won 4 games by a score or less plus in 3 of those wins they needed huge 4th quarter comebacks. LSU's toughest road game was what vs a .500 Alabama squad?

Defense will be good despite the huge loss of Pelini as DC but the QB position is way too inexperienced for that tough of a road schedule. I would've thought differently with Perriloux on the team.

At Auburn, at Florida, at USC, at Arkansas, and home games vs Bama and Georgia who I think is the best team in the country.

Les gambled quite a bit last year and may have been one of the luckiest son of a bitches I've ever seen. Balls of steel.

Lesticles, Horn!

I agree that UGA is the team to beat this season. As I wrote in your preseason top 25 thread, the SEC boils down to four teams IMO.

Troubled LSU QB Perrilloux transfers to Jacksonville State

Troubled ex-LSU quarterback Ryan Perrilloux may have found a place where he can get the playing time he craves.

Perrilloux has transferred to Jacksonville State, where he will have the inside track for the starting quarterback job next season.

Perrilloux was dismissed from LSU earlier this month after repeated off-the-field problems. The Gamecocks do not have a scholarship quarterback on their roster and since Perrilloux is transferring to a Football Championship Subdivision team, he won't have to sit out next season.

He has two years of eligibility remaining.

"Basically, I just see this as a second opportunity to be successful," Perrilloux told The Birmingham News.

Jacksonville State coach Jack Crowe spoke to the family of Perrilloux earlier this month about the possibility of transferring to the school. Crowe also spoke with LSU coach Les Miles, who explained Perrilloux's situation to Crowe.

"Les was very kind to spend quite a bit of time explaining the situation to me," Crowe told The Associated Press. "He's very optimistic about him being a successful player and a successful student-athlete."

Crowe said Miles felt Perrilloux arrived at LSU with expectations to play as a freshman, but that opportunity diminished. Perrilloux instead served as a backup to JaMarcus Russell and Matt Flynn during his time with the Tigers.

He'll have a clear shot at the Jacksonville State starting job, though. The Gamecocks' 2007 starter, Cedric Johnson, was kicked off the team after the season for violating team rules. Two other quarterbacks left the team and another graduated.

That leaves two signees, one of whom Crowe planned to grayshirt and have enroll after the 2008 season.

"We've signed a couple of good young players," he said. "This would be a natural choice for somebody that may want to move into an opportunity at quarterback."

Once one of the nation's top quarterback prospects, Perrilloux was suspended three times over the past year.

He was on the fringe of a counterfeiting investigation and was caught trying to enter a Baton Rouge casino with false identification. He also was involved in a nightclub fight in November. That caused him to miss a game at Alabama, though he was cleared of wrongdoing.

Perrilloux said he visited only two schools during his search for a place to transfer -- Jacksonville State and Alabama A&M.

"I am excited that it's over and I can begin to move forward," Perrilloux told The Birmingham News.

Information from The Associated Press was used in this report.

This coming from a guy that needs miracles and witchcraft to win the one tough game you have a year. We know yall are jealous over there in Big Texas but just give it a rest. Until you beat Oklahoma 3 times in the same decade you are not allowed to speak. :whip:

By the way this is GOOD NEWS for the program no matter what way yall spin it. LSU will have multiple 1000 yard rushers this year.

Untill either LSU or its coach Les Miles beats Texas this decade I wouldn't talk.

The only thing Texas is jealous of are riverboat casinos and Brittney Spears.

If you fuckers would win enough meaningful games to play us in a real bowl game like say the BCS championship then we could see the carnage. Until then just remember where you can find us..........hanging out above you in the polls.

HOOK EM - Texas born recruits with a taste for boudin and SEC football.
