Rochclone NCAAF Week 13

rochclone

Pretty much a regular
Tuesday:

Eastern Michigan +4.5 (6.0 Units)
Eastern Michigan TT Over 26.0 (2.6 Units)
Bowling Green +20.5 (1.8 Units)

I'm a Chris Creighton guy. Did a great job at Drake University before he took the EMU job. EMU is generally considered one of the five worst jobs in college football. What he has done there is nothing short of remarkable. Chance for them to get to their 3rd bowl in six years with him if they can win tonight or against Kent next week. I like EMU passing game against Northern Illinois. Otherwise this is a wager on Glass and the Head Coach.

Bowling Green--They could completely get destroyed but I'm not sure how invested Ohio will be in this game. Should win tonight and next week against Akron to get to 6-6. I think that will generally be considered a disappointing year. They hung within 18 points against Central Michigan at home and the rush offense and rush defense has been better the last two weeks.

Good start with EMU last night. Going back to get my money from last week on the Bulls.

Wednesday:

Buffalo -9.5 (6.0 Units)
Akron +30.0 (1.4 Units)

I generally agree with the consensus that Akron hasn't given up yet on defense. Eastern Michigan is better offensively at 5.84 yds per play than Miami Ohio which 4.98 yards per play and #111 nationally. Miami (Ohio) isn't a big play offense. I suspect that this is a sleepy 35-7 or 35-14 type of game. Difficult for me to value Miami at 10-13 points better than EMU and that is what the Vegas line is saying after last week.

Buffalo should hate themselves after the Kent State debacle. But I trust Liepold in the same way that I trust EMU's Creighton. Good headcoach with the ability to get a bounce back after a bad loss. Toledo's RB is still hurt and they will be tested against the best front 7 in the MAC. Buffalo has been left out the bowl conversation at 6-6 before (see 2017) and thus they know they need the win here and next week vs. Bowling Green to guarantee the bowl. Patterson should be able to run at will against Toledo's defense which is giving up 199 yds per game on the ground and gave up 222 last week to NIU. It feels like a steep number and the books just asking for Toledo money. Think Leipold and the crew bounce back tonight.

Lots of value in this weekday games for me this week. Like CSU tomorrow as well both the side at 6.5 or 7.0 and Team Total which should be around 22.0 or 22.5
