Robert Saleh Fired

Hate to say it but Ulbrich comes off well in a press conference. I have to hope the team continues to flop or he's getting the job full time.

Only the Jets could take away the playcalling from Hackett and give it to Todd Downing who is every bit as inept as Aaron's boyfriend.
I hear theirs a flood at Jets practice facility, oh never mind its just the tears from little man rogers his boyfriend got demoted. Just get rid of rogers and move on, what a loser.

I have decided to take over this thread and make it all about who the new head coach and GM should be as well as who I think ultimately ends up getting the jobs.

GM candidates

Ray Agnew assistant GM Lions: he will probably have his choice of jobs and being as qualified as he is will more than likely turn it down. Still the dream scenario of Agnew and Ben Johnson as the next coach is the dream scenario.
Other than Agnew I would look at assistants with well run franchises such as KC though that is no sure thing as current Jets idiot Joe Douglas learned under Ozzie Newsome and was with the Eagles when the Jets hired him.

Coaches

Ben Johnson: clearly the top candidate out there. Even if somehow the Jets hired Agnew there is probably no chance whatsoever of Johnson taking this job. I think he made a big mistake turning down Washington who has a good new owner and possibly a solid GM who they hired from the Niners as well as Jayden Daniels. Unless he didn't like Daniels or just doesn't want to be a head coach turning down the job was not smart. Unless he has mental issues he would be wise to stay away from the Jets.

Bobby Slowik Texans OC: I only want an offensive coach and preferably one that has developed a QB and Slowik certainly qualifies with the job he has done with Stroud.

Todd Monken Ravens OC: He has been successful everywhere he has gone and was once a runner up for the Jets job under a different idiot GM. My one concern is why a guy that has been around as long as he has is still an assistant but beggars can't be choosers and I would be very happy if the Jets hired him.

Other than these three names I would have interest in other guys that have shown they can coach offense. What I refuse to go along with is any defensive coaches so that eliminates guys like Vrabel.

What I expect to happen is the Jets hire some idiot GM who has no other options and Rex Ryan comes back to coach the team so the longest streak without a playoff performance continues.

Rex took them to b2b afc championship games didn’t he ? They could do a lot worse and prob will.

Technically he did but that team was put together by Eric Mangini and he deserves the credit. Under Rex they got worse each year until they had to dump him and he bombed in Buffalo. The Jets would be nuts to rehire him but its what I expect.
