Rest of February and March Discussion

Detroit with a very soft schedule the next 8 games or so after a pretty tough gauntlet.

Much needed at this point to create some distance at the top perhaps.

That being said, Ausur Thompson is out, for awhile.

Season crumbling.

Lots Of Big Lines Today 3/18

The one that has caught my attention is NETS +19.5 - 20.
OKC played last night
Playing the second half of back to back 2-9 spread
Nets have covered the spread in 4 of their last 6 games, while the Thunder are just 2-8 ATS over their last 10 games.
Would help if Michael Porter Jr. is cleared to play of course. Line may go down if he is playing. Questionable now.
Thoughts @B.A.R.
Anyone? Anyone

Pacers +13
Utah +13.5
Memphis +13

Hey @Vapster ...

Good timing as I'm doing some lunchtime handicapping!

Interesting numbers on the Nets as they were not the most reliable team ahead of this mini streak.

I can't see the Thunder having much excitement for this game. Weird trip for the OK City team as they have TWO full days off on the East Coast afterwards before facing Washington on Saturday night. Philly follows that before we have a big one AT BOSTON...

I'd assume they will kinda go through the motions these next 3 games awaiting a potential NBA finals preview!

I guess with these big spreads I want to see teams that are showing a pulse (as you pointed out) and teams that can consistently score the ball. That's really the key vs the NBA's best teams.

I'd LIKE To Think The Nets Give Some Effort.

I'd LIKE To Think The Thunder Will Save Their Energy For Another Day.

Nets 24 1st half point total vs the Thunder on Wed, now the lowest 1st half total of the season.

Indiana was the leader with 25.

Let's hope he can be back at least for the second round. Pistons should be able to get through first round without him.
I think it eliminates him from MVP and NBA top five lists though...
SGA and Jokic also with ? mark...
He needs to play 4 more games.

Any chance he gets back before regular season is over? Judging from previous cases and bookies odds, it looks like no
Yeah, definitely a chance.

We'll see. From what was said yesterday, this is a more mild collapse.

Now, I don't think they'll rush him back at all. My hope would be to see him the last game or two.

Lakers are in town tonight...

Luka's 16th technical was rescinded so he isn't suspended tonight.

Detroit has been surviving without Cade so far but a few playoff teams now loom plus a road game in OKC.

Boston and Detroit both 6-4 their last ten games. Pistons are up 4.5 right now for the first seed.

I'll be honest.. my two goals right now...

1. Healthy Cade for playoffs
2. Whether it's the 1st or 2nd seed I would like to play NY in the second round. I simply think that's our best route to the ECFs.

All that being said, potential series with Orlando or Miami in the first round are not to be overlooked.

Damn,

Moses Moody missed 10 games with a wrist injury...

Back tonight, 23 points...

Breakaway layup with a minute left in OT...

Knee buckles.

Yikes

9 NBA games on Wednesday...

The lowest combined total was 231 points.

We had the following totals tonight...

231
232
284
276
271
249
238
247
240
