A much needed break for players during the long NBA season always brings some interesting games right afterwards.

Who is still mentally on vacation?

Who became fat n happy for a week?

Who's ready to make a 2nd half push!?

Time to settle in and get ready for the stretch run.

Also time to look into the tanking teams and take advantage. I was a bit late on Utah but did grab Portland the one game -6.5. That was after the NBA commented on the situation.

Right out of the gate.... We have a very interesting game Friday at MSG. I'll have a separate thread on that coming up...

Good luck to all and let's have a great 2nd half of the season!!

2/21

Trying to find a reason how Sac keeps it close in SA tonight and not finding any?
Last 3 games haven't been close in SAC's losses.
SA -18

Spurs have been on fire!

They head east for a long trip after this game. Big one on Monday versus the East leaders.

Eighteen points is HEFTY though!!

I can see your point. No need to exert too much energy when you're about to hit the road against some tough competition. That being said , I just don't think Sacramento has much firepower.

If we're talking about big time games coming up, Detroit Has some as well. Maybe taking the Bulls plus ten +, ain't such a bad idea at home today.

You're absolutely right!

Stons plays SA and OKC in the next 4 days after this.

Leans For 2/22

I'm liking the way Washington has been playing. +12

Nets +10 has me thinking. I know, I know....

Same with Indiana ML...

Detroit hosting San Antonio tonight...

Then hosting OKC on Wednesday...

Potential Finals opponents.

Obviously Cleveland and Boston might have something to say about that!

This isn't anything new but the fact Detroit didn't try to add significant shooting at the deadline is ultimately what might cost this team winning the East.

Sac or SAS?

I was quite surprised at 4pm Eastern that the line was only Detroit -1
Now we know why the line was only -1 a few hours before tip.

Spurs are a better team than Detroit.

We knew they were good but that 3-point shooting plus interior defense is a deadly combo.

Wemby was shit on offense too.

Agree 100%

Game was never in doubt.

Mid 3rd quarter on it was never in doubt at all.

75% of the first half Detroit controlled. Spurs 3 point shooting kept them in it early, then their D took over in the 2h while the timely shooting continued.

Two quick plays I see this a.m. 2/24

Looking at a rebound game. Cleveland was embarrassed (IMO) vs OKC. Cleveland -4 @home tonight.

Same the other way around. OKC played out of their minds. Toronto -1 @home tonight.
