  • Mahan makes a nice birdie putt down the hill on 1.. Then woody after hitting a snap hook off the tee showing huge nerves makes a 40 ft bomb for birdie to win the hole. 'an_horse'

Americans have yet to hit the fairway on 1.. havent been close yet they are up on both matches. Cink just missed the first fairway by a good 30 yards.
 
Big putts for Hunter and Woody on first hole for confidence...

Weir has looked miserable with his irons.. 2 shots that couldnt have been more than an 8 or 9 iron and he misses the green badly.

Yeah, first hole Veej bombed it and they had huge advantage and end up losing hole
 
Yea true BAR, I noticed that Phil and Vijay have been striking it well the first few holes ( right down the middle ). I'm a little surprised with the way the australians are playing, I will say Adam is really passive and doesnt have a killer or competitive vibe. Lookin forward to seein what ch3 does. I got a feeling Tiger will be throwing darts all day with the wet greens.

Cink and Johnson = awful pairing! They got blitzed last presidents cup.
 
BTW the course looks in great shape.. basically no rough, greens are rolling true. Should be a ton of birdies this week.
 
Had a feeling CH3's first drive would be off.. didnt realize it would be that off,
 
Screw this. I'm going to bed (it's 5am down under!)

So disappointed with Scott & Ogilvy. They were my only day one play as well.
 
Sick flop shot by mick.. looks like woody is fallin apart, his last few swings have been bad.

not really but he is 100% FADE MATERIAL in the next 2 foursome matchups. He hasnt been close on any shot. Every time they show tiger hes in the woods or the bunker etc..:seeya:

Austin and CH3 are on my fade list for toms matches. Nothing else has stuck out that much of yet.
 
Zach is bombing putts like he did at augusta.. If Jack was smart he would pair austin and ch3 together that way they cant sabotage more than 1 team.
 
Bar greek was offering ties at 7 /1.. You gotta think theres a good chance at least one of these matches ties. Got an opinion on betting it that way?
