I voted yes. The 50 is a tough number and I’m curious to see the next wave of deals and see if these universities start pushing back on these guarantees/agents.

He will never admit it but I’m sure Allar going down for the year helped him.
I’ll be on em next week possibly ATS
Small Game James

The contracts and business of hiring and signing coaches isn't anything I follow, but, why don't schools put some performance based criteria in these contracts? They should. Agents would scoff, sure. But that's negotiation. There are bonuses for conference title game appearances, bowl games, etc, correct? Why aren't they putting penalties in contracts and mechanisms they can fire coaches with reduced buyouts based on criteria such as losing to key teams, win/loss record vs ranked teams, etc?

I'm not sure he'll get fired, but I think there's a better than 50/50 chance he's gone. Maybe a mutual parting of ways with a soft landing spot

What i still don't get is all the preseason Allar love. He's always been horribly inaccurate yet many media had him as possible #1 pick let alone R1 pick. He's just not good. Hackenburg clone. Fire him. Throw bank at Cigniti. With that fan base they can make up 50mm quickly with some big wins new approach and in hunt for championship. Cigniti is answer if they can get him.

Crazy to think that two weeks ago last night they could have beaten Oregon and likely been ranked 2nd in the nation. Now he's unemployed. Gotta love how quickly times can change.
College football is as much of a business as the pros.

Many wanted him gone after Oregon. You can maybe forgive the UCLA slip up. But after Northwestern, it was clear the players quit on him. When that happens, it's time to go.
A guy who can‘t win big games doesn‘t belong at a big program. Let him boost some middling program like South Carolina. He‘ll be appreciated there

Every Michigan fan was disappointed they didn’t get the shutout. I have no problem with that.
For sure.

That was a really good defense that year.

The fact that he kicked that FG to avoid the shutout (yes, this was only the 3rd quarter but he was inside the 10) at the 3 is still joked about on the Michigan boards.

I heard someone say if Rhule left for Penn St, would Franklin go to Nebraska?

Not sure, but I feel like he would do pretty well here. Biggest thing is you have to be willing to put in big time work on the recruiting side. If you do that, there's really no recent you cant win at least 9 games every year. Facilities, fan support, and academic support are all second to none.

Was in The Swamp last night for the Gators game. Fired Billy chants every few minutes, even after the game with a win. The guy in front of me said that if they can't get Kiffin, they'd take Franklin. My wife, a UF alum, screemed quickly "NO"! She's lived with my bitching about Franklin for 10 years
