Playoff Umpire Thread

Apparently, due to having a 7th umpire assigned to the replay booth, the rotations will be a little different now.

Here's an example:

Game 1: Cuzzi behind the plate, Welke at 1B and Iassogna in the replay booth
Game 2: Cuzzi in RF, Welke behind the plate and Iassogna still in the booth.
Game 3: Cuzzi will move to the booth and Iassogna will assume Cuzzi's spot in the rotation and move to LF. Welke will continue on in the rotation and move to RF.

This will then put Iassogna (who did the first two games in the booth) behind the plate for game 7, if necessary.

No word on the EXACT rotation yet but here are the crews for both series:

ALCS: Timmons, Hudson, West, Kulpa, Wegner, Gorman, Emmel

NLCS: Cuzzi, Welke, Davis, Carlson, Gibson, Miller, Iassogna

From what I'm reading, Todd Tichenor will be in the replay booth for the entirety of BOTH series and not rotate in at any time.

:idk:

Alright, here we go.

Game 1: Meals
Game 2: Cooper
Game 3: Reynolds
Game 4: Ted Barrett
Game 5: Wendelstedt
Game 6: Kellogg
Game 7: Nelson

Brian O'Nora will be in the replay booth for the entire series. Games 1 and 2 will be done with Nelson. He will then be joined by Meals for Games 3 through 7.

Guess that's all for me. It's been another fun season. See y'all back here next year. Same Bat time, same Bat channel. :ninja:

Absolutely agree. You have been a great help and we all wish you the best Meals with Bumgarner 5 innings 12.6 ERA very short sample but negative. Meals with Shields 36.1 innings 2.97 ERA. 1 game this year 6.1 innings 4.26 ERA Shields this season on 6 plus 4.38 ERA 12.1 innings last year on 19 innings on 6 plus 2.37 ERA. I admit I am confused by this info
