This is a home game for SD ST, however i'm unsure of how the Aztecs will be able to move the ball. SD ST is the #15 rushing offense in the country but not sure how they run the ball vs Byu's #2 rush D that only allows 2.71 yds per carry and have only allowed 1011 rush yds and only 5 rush TD's this season. SD ST has the #106 pass offense vs Byu's #13 pass D, Byu is #3 in country in total D and #5 in scoring D. The Aztecs winning @ Boise St is impressive but they were held to their 2nd lowest rushing output of the season, 164 rush yds and Boise St ranks #40 vs run, what will #2 rush D allow. Both Byu and SD ST played @ Boise, Byu lost 6-7, other common opponent was S Jose St but Byu played on road and SD ST at home. Byu also had to travel to ND (14-17 loss), play home vs Ore St (24-42 loss) and vs Utah St (6-3 win). While it appears the Aztecs are one dimensional on O, Cougars have a decent balance on O, #63 rush and #51 pass vs SD ST #36 run D and #60 pass D. Another big factor is Byu D ranks #3 vs 3rd down coversions allowing 27% of them and SD ST D #71 vs 3rd down conversions allowing 41% of them. Lastly Byu is #14 in country in time of possession.

just heard a crazy trend: When not playing at home, WKU 16-1 ATS L17, game they missed the cover was by 1 point.
 
Little Caesars Bowl

I could be wrong here, seems like im on public side and against some respected cappers here (Dwight, Lindetrain, etc). Wku does have it's distractions with Taggart moving on and they will be without their best pass rusher, Quanterus Smith. I see some stats that dont support teams 1st time bowling but after being snubbed last season, i think they will be motivated here. Cmu will be playing in home state but come in with some distractions of their own with suspensions of receivers Titus Davis and Courtney Williams. Cmu did have to win 4 of last 5 games to get to this bowl but beat teams like Akron, E Mich, Mia Oh and Umass. Pretty sure game vs Umass is the only team Chips outgained their opponent this season, Cmu allowed 30 or more points to 8 of their 12 opponents this season, Cmu 2-13 ATS as Dogs last 2 seasons. When not playing at home, WKU 16-1 ATS L17, game they missed the cover was by 1 point.

Stopping the run hasn’t been Central Michigan’s strong suit. The Chippewas, who see a lot of spread offenses in the MAC, are 98th nationally in rushing defense and allowing an average of 198.3 rushing yards per game. Western Kentucky will try to set the tone with its running game right off the bat. The Hilltoppers are extremely physical in their offensive line and will utilize multiple tight end sets. Throw in Antonio Andrews' versatility, and this will be a huge test for the Chippewas’ defense. Andrews has rushed for 230 yards or more in each of his past two games. If he gets into a rhythm early, Central Michigan could end up spending the rest of the game on its heels.

The Hilltoppers still have their 5 Top Leading tacklers in the game, 5 different guys with interceptions (13 on the season), & plenty of other Defensive lineman that have sacks, tackles for loss, and game experience on the season in the game. They have a deep Defensive line, so though Quanterus will be missed, they have adequate replacements to fill in with......despinte Quanterus's not playing, they still have 15 Returning Starters & 48 of their 58 lettermen from last year playing, so plenty of experience.
