Steroids saved this sport when it was dying, they knew it, anyone with half a brain from the outside could see it so let’s not play dumb like they were shocked to find out, but soon as the shit comes out they treat these guys who put some extra shit in their bodies to make the sport more watchable like a cancer instead of the heroes to the sport they were.

You are 100% correct, mlb loved the Maguire/Sosa HR battle and the Bonds record breaking years. The seats in the stadiums were full every night and ESPN was bringing us every AB. But as soon as the govt said steroids are bad mlb made these players the villain's . MLB is a fucking joke and run by the biggest hypocrite’s-you will find anywhere. When asked “ what’s the most prestigious record in baseball?” Most would respond “ the most HRs in a season or lifetime. Roger Maris held the single season HR record (61) for 37 years .
