PacMan's 2007-2008 Football Thread

PacMan

Deceased - RIP
Future: DET over 6 wins, -140 (G), $7,000/$5,000

HOF Game: NO/PIT over 33.5 (BJM), $525/$500

Yea, yea, yea ... new head coach in PIT, they've lost quality folks the last few years (Bus, Bill etc) but others will come in and shine/sparkle. Last year NO was awful in these early games, looking for a better start from them. Wouldn't be surprised to see 10+ points from turnovers tonight and that should be enough to beat the number.

New Orleans was also breaking in a new coach and quarterback last year ( for their high powered offense), and still suffering from a severe Hurricane Katrina.

That Detroit bet is real risky, but good luck to ya.

Thank you but I don't think a team with the offensive weapons they do will be as poor as they were last season. Got to remember this is the NFL where teams can and often flip records from the previous season and with the "parity" can see them being in most of the games taking at least 8 this season.

Valid points about NO.

Let's have a cash positive season!

Need a touchdown and point after in the last quarter to break-in the new season correctly.

My point is that the saints could have "started off slow" last year because they had a brand new coach and quarterback, and developing an offense takes times.

what drew brees did last year was amazing. It is super unlikely that a guy steps in, and commands such a potent offense in 1 freaking year.

INDY/DAL split dropping $100

Nice pacman, way to cut into that deficit.

Goodjob tonite bro.

Belated thanks man. Something I learned along the way that when your down in football, don't try to get it all back in one game. Try getting about half back on a game, if successful get about a quarter back a couple times. It works for me (and those whom it's been shown to) and realize everyone caps and wagers in there own way. Let's have a cash positive season!

 :shake: Way to go bud.

Belated thanks, it's appreciated.

Much as love football, it's not my best sport to wager upon, so I am very careful with what gets played and for how much. GL this season and may all who read this be in the black four plus digits at season's end!

This was posted on at least two other sites. It reflects what is in play for tonight's game. After posting it "there" I came here only to find the site was updating. If anyone wants to know where else this was posted (to verify it if you don't accept what I state) send me a PM and you'll be informed.

Yesterday 1-1-0, +$375

Season is 11-11-1, -$7,175

800pm, PHI/PIT over 26.5 -350, $3,500/$1,000

FYI, the line is still the same at BM currently.

Tonight's plays went 2-0-0 adding $2,000 (account will updated shortly after the game is completed).

Season stands at 13-11-1, down $5,175.

LET'S GET IT DONE!!!

Week One Official Play:
NE/JETS over 31', 5,400/1,500
Alt line with higher juice.

Ramblings/Notes:
JAX -7 > TN,
===> JAX is 12-1 ATS last 3 seasons when they score 22-28.
They should score in that range today.

ATL +2.5 > MN,
===> ATS is 9-2 ATS as a road dog of less than three points.

NE/JETS over 41,
===> NE is 13-2 ATS when the total is between 35' & 42 last 3 seasons.

TB/SEA under 41,
===> TB is 9-20 ATS when total is between 35' & 42 as they struggle to
score touchdowns more than most (offense ranked 29th last season).

Today went 1-0-0, adding $1,500 to the account.

Season record is 15-12-1, down $4,675 - but will double check accounts latter to verify.

Yesterday went 2-0-0, adding $600 to the accounts.

Season stands at 17-12-1, down $4,075 (includes NFLX).

GB/MN over 27.5, playing to win $1,000
===> How can the two teams NOT get 4 touchdowns between them?

DET +10.5 > CHI, playing to win $1,500
===> "New" cube for Bears, team rallies around that and would have taken the Lions straight up had they played a better first half last week against the yellow and blue (man they were ass ugly uniforms) Eagles. Will take the points, just in case.

INDY -3.5 > DEN, playing to win $1,000
===> Colts at home and not giving a touchdown, even with the alternate line, ok call me dumb I'll bite.

Season stands at 17-14-1 down $13,750 heading into todays action.

3-0-0 tonight adding $3,500 to the accounts

Season stands at: 20-14-1, down $10,250

Progress was made today, it will take a few weeks in a row similar to today to turn that minus to a positive.

For Sunday October, 7, 2007
100pm, DET +10.5 > WA, playing to win $1,000
===> The Lions offense should be able to keep them in the game eventhou DET has not won there for "umpteen" million years (not really but it's been a very long time). There defense kept to task last week and showed the potential it has to be average (or better) - yes, it was against the second stringer but nonetheless they accomplished the game plan. On the flip side, WA is coming off the bye week, giving them two weeks to get ready for this game. Something in the back of my head is telling me to play against them (WA) following the mini-break. Would not be stunned to see DET get the win straight up but will take the points just in case.

100pm, DET > WA, risking $200
===> Small play on the money-line for the above mentioned reasons.

DET/WA game is not officially over but WA did better than figured.

INDY -3.5 > TAM, playing to win $2,000
