Official 2025-2026 Start 'Em or Sit 'Em Thread

Can I ask dynasty trade advice here? I'm being offered James Cook+Judkins in exchange for my Waddle+AChan. I can (1) get rid of my Dolphins and (2) gamble on Judkins blowing up at the same time.

Is this thread even the right spot for this? Too nerdy? Too needy? If so, blow it up. If not, what am I missing?

Definitely the right spot.

Thanks, BAR. I found a new thread to post at CTG! I ended up taking that offer just because of James Cook. Got rid of my Dolphins. I don't even care if they bounce back week two. Even though it looks like the public is all over them to do so. You know how sharp the public is.

All offseason the word on James Cook was regression to the mean. "He'll never repeat the touchdown numbers," Shit like that. "Signed a contract now he's worthless" etc. But after the game on Sunday, dude is still fire. I had him TD +100 and 2TD +700. He got stopped on the one yard line twice after his first TD. Multiple TD games for Cook are IN PLAY. Not to mention Davis kinda looked like crap. But anyway. It's been a morning! Glad there was a little corner of the internet for me to write about all this shit without bothering anybody too much! cheers brothers

In dynasty I would take that deal. In redraft I would not.

Flipped Judkins for an early 2026 2nd. I have Sampson and love drafting rookies. It will make the draft more fun at least.

Here's a start em/sit em to proceed with the intent of the thread:

week two DST: Vikes (hosting Atlanta) or Broncos (at Indy)

Choosing between Denver and Minnesota was a good problem to have, ended up with Minnesota but Burrow's injury tanked me regardless.

My contribution this week: Josh Downs vs Shakir. I'm already cringing starting Bills, notably James Cook on the short week.

Last week Cook: "limited Wednesday (hamstring), full walkthrough Thursday, uncapped session Friday"

These Thursday games gotta go man. Nobody should play football on 3 days' rest.

I'm leaning Downs over Shakir thinking Bills might not even need studs 2H against Miami. Just play defense, run clock with fresh RBs (Davis and Ty Johnson 15 combined touches first two games) and gtf outta there with everyone's hamstrings intact.

Agree with Downs over Shakir.

Bills two game sample for Shakir:
Barnburner comeback, Allen 46 attempts, Shakir target share 19.6%
Blowout win, Allen 25 attempts, Shakir target share 8%

Colts two game sample for Downs:
Blowout win, Jones 29 attempts, Downs target share 10.3%
Barnburner comeback, Jones 34 attempts, Downs target share 23.5%

In both game scripts Downs has been a bigger part of the offense. Bills host #32 ranked Miami. Could be another low floor game for Shakir. Colts are at bottom 5 team Tennessee. Titans could get blown out, but being at home gives them a better chance of making this a game. I can seen Allen and Jones with similar number of attempts but Downs to have the higher target share. Or Jones to have a few more attempts, all the better for Downs.

Thank you, sir. Thank you very much. 🤝
Titans could get blown out
Speaking of, Titans 0-11 ATS L11 home. But I am so ready for things to click with this team (I drafted Helm and Ayomanor). We got an Ayomanor TD last week, now I'm excited and ready to see Helm in that end zone.

Interested to see what both Chubb and AD Mitchell are about to do. Maybe try and squeeze one of those guys into the lineup somehow.

Alright guys,

Give me two starting RBs

Standard ppr but bonus for 40+ yard and accelerating scoring plays

You ready?

Gibbs
Jeantay
Javonte Williams
Breece Hall
Rico Dowdle

Oh, I'm 0-6 in this league. Best receiver is Brian Thomas Jr.

Just brutal.

I have a top 8 TE and Bo Nix.

I've tried to make several trades and no one will give me even 75% value.

Hope you went with Javonte and Gibbs. Rank them by how productive the offense is and you have your answer. Your post is an epiphany for me, as I used Fannin over Kraft and it cost me. Although I also thought Mac Jones would be a better QB sub than Lawrence based on the same standard, so what the hell do I know.

Bhayshul Tuten
The 4th place owner (12 teamer) is offering me his 2026 2nd + 2026 4th for Tuten. It's going to be a mid-to-late 2nd rounder. Right on point with his current value, with the 4th rounder thrown in. I paid 2.05 for him back in June. It was my first pick in the draft.

This owner is a cool enough guy. He does have a reputation for shotgunning the other owners with lame trade offers, but he and I have been on the same page for a couple years now. Is a late 2nd rounder gonna be worth a shit in 2026? Last year it was. We were chock full of draftable RBs last year. Just feels like I need to wait and see on Tuten.
