*First legs tend to be cautious affairs, regardless of the league, so I did some backtracking, and here's what I found. Since the 2012 season when MLS introduced two legged ties for both the conference semi finals and conference finals, the O/U 3.5 is 0-4 this season, 1-5 in 2015, 1-5 in 2014, 2-4 in 2013, and 1-5 in 2012. And regarding the teams tonight, here are their Over 3.5 numbers on the season:
Toronto 11-26 (5-13 on the road), Montreal 14-23 (10-8 at home)
Colorado 6-30 (5-13 on the road), Seattle 7-30 (2-17 at home)
The obvious concern is TFC/Montreal (although watch that be a scoreless draw and the Rapids game be the high scoring one...), but this looks like a high percentage bet, so let's see what happens...

*Sheffield came into last night's game with nine straight overs, and Bury with thirteen in its last sixteen and, of course, it goes under. Red card notwithstanding, uncanny how these runs always manage to come to a screeching halt the moment I bet them. And speaking of which...
Uniao's 3-12 O/U 2.5 on the season (2-5 at home), which isn't really much of a shocker when you consider the average number of goals per game in Portugal B is 2.28. What is surprising, however, is the fact that Sporting B's managed to go 11-3 O/U 2.5 on the season (4-3 on the road), with the league's 2nd best offense, and third worst defense. In a clash of contrasting styles, I'll take my chances at plus money that Sporting can force Uniao's hand and dictate the pace in this one (with Uniao having given up 7 goals in their last 4 games, think it's safe to assume their defense can be opened up when the pace and finishing is there).
Not a slam dunk by any stretch of the imagination, but these anomalous sides tend to stick out like a sore thumb (low scoring team in high scoring league, high yielding team in low scoring league, etc...), so let's see what happens...
