Not happy betting with Bodog.

I played Allen Iverson ov 29 pts.
Bodog cancelled my bet and said that the play was Iverson 29 pts. + assists

I swear the bet involved points only, the took my bet away from me and refuse to give it back, I did not notice until after game time so it is my fault for being late on the play. I plead my case that I was interested in having Iverson over 29 pts and insisted that they give my the play, It was obvious that I my intentions were completely for the points only, look in my thread, I posted Iverson over 29 Pts. it says nothing about assists. I am pretty pissed off about this it was my biggest play today. I have had some serious f****kn problems with Bodog lately, I want to get a certaint amount ahead and cashout, Pinnacle seems to have good line releases, better odds, and better bets. Their is alot of lines that Bodog does not release, NBA quarters, NCAAB ov/un, 1st half plays.
I insist that you don't bet their any longer than you have to.

Am I the only one having problems with these guys?

I have had other problems in the recent past.

That's interesting that Bodog did not give you your money. Are you sure it was only pts? I used Bodog for quite a few years and have never had a bet canceled that had won... but I don't doubt that it happened. Either way, even if they were right, you should take your money out of that HUGE vig book and place it in another online book such at Pinnacle, the greek or betcris if u bet semi-large sums.

So if all that info is correct, which I believe you 100%, do yourself a favor and take out all your money tomorrow and put it in TheGreek and Pinny. Pinny for the lines and Greek for player props. Once your done doing that there is a company that reports on shady books. Look them up and report your story. Help somebody else out in the process.

It's not until you dump Bodog and Sportsbook that you realize that you're on the road to being a legitimate handicapper. I say this out of complete experience. I used both of those books for about 5 years. 4 in college and 1 out of it. I switched to Pinny after that and I laugh at myself for playing at those other books.

Don't ponder it, just f**ing do it. You'll be happy.

I have been looking into other sites for quite sometime now, probably the past two months, I have had three situations with bodog now. Pinnacle seems to have the best line releases. I know for a fact I lost some of my bets because of Bodog's late releases, ex.Phenix Suns -9.5 release at Pinny against Miami w/out Wade or Shaq. Bodog released it at -11.5 I still had the courage to play it but felt shady about it, they won by 10. The juice at Pinny is also better. Bodog did return my money into my account, it just seems like everytime this happens it turns out I have a winning bet, and the A.I prop I totally loved, it says so in my threads. I will open an account with Pinny soon, shame on me for not doing it as we speak though.

I opened two accounts (bodog and pinny) to shop lines when I started betting a few months ago. Now I only use pinny and never saw a reason to reload at Bodog.

Also love the 1Q plays that pinny puts out reasonably early.

Dude could I be killing some 1 quarter lines, I love playing 1h and game spreads all the time, if I could get that 1st quarter in as well I would love it. The thrill of calling out a game is so much fun and it never gets old. Although losing all three plays in one game is just as Yag as it is fun. But I am usually a little more cautious with my selections of making such plays. Must be some good reasoning.

bodog is a good entry level/entertainment book. They're easy with quick customer service. Sometimes they shade popular lines, (if Suns +3 everywhere else, then it's Suns +2 at Bodog, and the Mavs -2 will be at -115 at LEAST), and they have extremely restrictive practices like not releasing totals on most games...and a few others I'm sure you have found. Bodog has low limits (they're a joke, actually), and their offerings utterly suck when compared to other books. Pinny is almost always cheaper, reguarly they have better lines, and they always have them out before bodog.

Having said all that, it's not unusual for a book to cancel a bet that they perceive as an error, and they all have that written into their user agreements.

Better options are accounts at BetCris, pinny, and theGreek...you can find links around the CTG site, and they're some of the most well-established books around. They release lines earlier, and you can get cheaper lines. All good stuff.

appreciate all the output, my decision is Pinnacle.

I use Pinnacle all the time to watch lines come out, I actually love Chicago -2 right now as we speak and I am very interested to see what it opens up at Bodog.

Id get away as fast as you can... i started out at bodog and once i bet a baseball game and clicked Carpenter must start for it to count... i look back after i notice carp isnt playing and it says i clicked the scrub pitcher must start... i took my money to pinny after that

what i don't understand is you bet over 29pts (iverson had 44pts) and they are saying the wager was for over 29pts and assists

well the 44 points alone cover the bet even if he didn't have 1 assist

so i don't see why they are cancelling your bet

i started out with BoDog also but later was shown the path to Pinnacle and haven't looked back since
