What YoungGun said. This can be the most frustrating hobby in the world and there are times when it seems like you just can't win a bet no matter what. It happens.

Take a step back, go over your methodology, are you getting line confirmation on your bets or are they moving away from you late? Each season has it's ebbs & flows, this one is approaching the one third mark now. What have you learned? More importantly, what do you think the books have learned?

Just wanted to wish you gl on the ice tonight. Been following your posts since you started the thread and I think you're a solid addition to the pucks forum. Very underrated sport to watch and bet on IMO and I really like your disciplined approach...that is a key to long-term success. Hope you keep at it, my friend. And just to echo what YG and kdog said...long season with plenty of swings both up and down...stick to your disciplined approach and you're gonna be successful.

Awesome moose job lighting.. The 5 pushes. Loved the play at 5.5 in the morning -113 moved 30 cents when posted so played the 5. Empty net to push.
 
Thanks scarf .. Newbie to ctg as a poster but have lurked since last college football season. Really respect many cappers here and all the good karma and positivity.

Hockey is by far my favorite sport as a spectator and fan but least confident betting. Hence my $30 unit bets.

Much like bases probably a good idea to find live dogs, and not spend much more than ten to 20 cents on a fav.

I feel your pain on those 5's I refuse to play -130 or -140 juice on those 5.5's. Over the past few days I've bought it down to 5 on about 5 occasions. One was a loss which saved me heavy juice, one was a win which paid +140 instead of -130, and the other 3 were all pushes in the last minute of the game. Not sure how closely you watch the games but this week has been insane where I've seen multiple games have 4-5 goals in the 3rd and still not go over, or push late.

3 out of 5 not bad. you got "robbed by a masked man" in Montreal on BOTH the Habs side and total OVER. Kings Quick with a 45 save shutout and Habs outshot LA 45-20
 
Yep LRR awesome performance from Quick. Figured the Habs had to start scoring again, last night was not the night. 11 goals in there last 7 games now. I'll take a plus night anytime, albeit a small one. Moving forward.
